Daniel Seavey's Little Sister

Chapter 6

(Jack's POV)
I saw apsen and Mak walk in to the main room together and I was so happy they were friends because I wouldn't be able to like someone my best friend didn't get along with.....wait do I like Mak?  I waked over to the two of them who were talking to Jonah and dancing.
"Hey guys" I said smiling
"Hey jack" they all responded
I gave Jonah a slight look to try and give him the idea I wanted to talk to Mak because I feel like we started off on a weird note earlier today. He eventually got the idea.
"Aspen can you come help me bring come more food to the pool area outside? it looks like people are going out there." Jonah said to Aspen
"Yeah sure Jonah" she answered
They both left and that left Mak and I together on the middle of the dance floor.
"The music is pretty load" she stated
"Well yeah it's a party" I said to her chuckling a little. After that we both stood there in awkward silence with the music blaring behind us and the hundreds of people yelling in the house.
"Would you like to join me outside it would be a lot more quiet" I said to her
"Ummm yeah sure" she said
We both walked outside and stood at the end of our yard that over looked the city.
"This is stunning" she said
"yeah we've been living here for a while now and it hasn't gotten old" I replied back she stood there admiring the view that was lit up by the city lights and the stars
"Mak?" I said in a questioning tone
"Yeah?" She answered
"I wanted to apologize for how we started off its just that you're so gorgeous and I don't know how to act around you because you have me feeling this type of way and I just met you and I've never felt like this before and maybe I'm crazy because we just met and you're Daniels little sister but I feel something with you and I-"
"Jack" she said gabbing my hand making me stop completely "breath" she said
"Right sorry" I said blushing like an idiot I knew I shouldn't have said any of that if we weren't on the wrong foot before we definitely were now I thought to myself
"look jack I think you're really sweet and I can tell you have a big heart and I feel something around you too" she said still holding onto my hand making me smile
"it's just that we just met and there's Daniel" she said
"I'll wait, I want to know everything about you and if the time comes and we need to we can talk to Daniel" I said
"Okay" she said smiling "I'm going to head inside care to join?" She said
"No I'm going to stay out here a little while longer. Find me in a bit, yeah?"
"Of course" she said smiling, she kissed my cheek and walked inside leaving me smiling like an idiot but I didn't mind I was happy.
(Maks Pov)
I can't believe jack said all that to me. I can't believe he said he'd wait. I'm so happy and I can't wait to get to know him. I ran inside because I needed to find Jonah to tell him
what's happened. He's kinda become my best friend and like a Bryan to me. After about an hour of looking for him I finally saw him.
"JONAH" I yelled over the load music making my way over to him. He was sitting on the couch talking to Aspen still.
"Hey Mak" he said to me
"Sorry I'll come back later if not important I'll just tell you later" I said
"Okay is about 1 am now anyways the party should be over soon" he said
"Okay awesome!" I said happily because I truly hate parties and I couldn't wait to talk to Jonah about jack....jack omg I totally forgot he told me to find him later. I looked around and saw him "jack..." I said but once I moved closer on the couch with another girl on his lap. I didn't know what to think so I just walked to my room. I wasn't crying I was just shocked I didn't get it after he said all those nice things..how could?...would he?.. I was just so confused.  After sitting in my room for about thirty minutes I heard the music stop and I figured the party had ended so I put on some sweatshorts and a cropped sweatshirt and a sports bra to sleep in and put my hair in a messy bun and took off my makeup. I just wanted to sleep and forget about the stupid party and everything jack said to me. I was not excited to see everyone tomorrow.
