(Maks Pov)
I was outside swinging with Isla when jack came out to meet us.
"how are my two princesses doing?" He asked
"see Makenna I told you jack said you look like a princess" isla said causing jack to go red
"Isla remember when we talked about secrets and how you weren't suppose to tell other people them?" He asked her
"Yup" she said
"well that was a secret" he said
"oh so you don't want me to know I'm pretty" I said sassy
"no baby that's not what I meant you're beautiful in every way" he said quickly
"jack calm down I was just kidding you tell me I'm beautiful every second of the day" I said laughing
"That's because you deserve to know" he said smiling walking over and sitting in the swing next to me so I was in the middle of isla and Jack.
"Mak?" Isla said
"mhm" I answered
"are you and jacky going to get married one day?" She asked
"I'm a little young for that right now but I hope I get to be with your brother for a very long time" I said to her smiling
"me too" jack said smiling
I heard my phone go off so I pulled it out to check it
bro bro the hoe hoe : hey hope everything is going well with jack and his family, also I hope you covered up your huge ass hickey hoe😂💓
me: I hate you but yeah I think jacks family likes me they say they do anyways
bro bro the hoe hoe: okay well since tomorrow is your bday mom and our other bros and dad are coming to the show tonight
me: DONT TELL ANYONE ABOUT MY BIRTHDAY YOU KNOW I HATE THEM
bro bro the hoe hoe: they're going to find out Mak, and jack really doesn't know your birthday
me: no I refused to tell him because I knew he would make a big deal about it

"so your birthday is tomorrow" jack said smirking
"JACK NO" I yelled
"you're right though I'm going to make it a big deal my baby is going to be 16" he said
"no jack stop I hate birthdays" I said to him
"To late in texting Daniel and having him pick up a gift for you and I'll pay him back later" he said to me
(Jacks Pov)
My gift to Mak isn't actually going to be a gift from just me I want to talk to Daniel and her family about her staying in LA with us permanently because she loves it out there and wants to peruse a career in fashion.
-texts between jack and Daniel-
me: why didn't you tell us Maks birthday was tomorrow?!
Daniel: chill bro she didn't want anyone to know but now you know so I might as well tell the rest of the guys
me: well are you getting her something?
Daniel: of course bro she's my sister and she's turning 16, I got her a pair of ray banz she's been dying for yesterday in NYC, my mom got her a gift card to top shop for like $200 and is bringing her favorite cupcake from her favorite cupcake shop in Portland, my brothers will just put their name on my moms gift and she'll say it's from all of them 😂😂
Jack: listen I know what I want to get her do you think you could pick it up for me.
Daniel: yeah sure just tell me what it is and where to get it
Me: I want to get her a pandora rose gold princess ring I'll send you the address of a jeweler near by
Daniel: okay bro, oh and my family is so excited you're dating Mak by the way so don't worry about them tonight
me: Daniel when Mak was talking to my mom she mentioned how she was interested in a career in fashion and so I was wondering if you had plans to keep her in LA and have her do online school like as a permanent thing
Daniel: yeah bro I've thought about it I mean I love having her here I was always closer with her than my other siblings, and clearly you two are good and the other boys love her especially zach and Jonah, I think I'll talk to my parents about it tonight
me: alright good I really want her to stay not just because we're together but for her because i know it's something she wants she just won't ask for it
Daniel: she's like that a lot and I'm on my way to go pick up the ring when are you headed back
me: in like an hour
Daniel: alright bro have fun
-time skip to when Mak and Jack are leaving-
"Baby we have to go" I said to Mak
"Okay coming" she said
"Bye guys see you tonight and Mak I'm so excited to see your mom" my mom said
"I'm sure she's excited to see you too bye everyone" Mak said waving to my family
We had called an uber to take us to the venue to meet up with the guys and hang around in the green room before sound check. The uber licked us up and Mak and I both got in the back
"Babe you know what's crazy" Mak said to me
"What?" I asked
"We've only been officially dating for a day" she said laughing
"Yeah but I consider it two weeks because that's how long I've liked you and you have liked me" I said smiling grabbing her hand
"I can't wait to see my mom" she said smiling
"Are you home sick?" I asked her
"No I just know she will be bringing my favorite cupcake" she said smiling
"You know all the boys and Aspen got you gifts yesterday and today because Daniel told them all once I found out" i said
"Aww no they shouldn't have really it's not that big of a deal I don't want them to think I'm expecting anything" she said clearly worried that she's upset people
"Mak they did it because they care not because they were forced" I said kissing her forehead when we arrived at the venue.
