Daniel Seavey's Little Sister

Chapter 30

(Jacks pov)
I knew where ever Mak went was within walking distance which was good because I didn't have to call and uber or cab and have the guys getting all suspicious of me.
"I need to go on a walk" I said
"Okay bro we're here for you" Corbyn said
"Just like he was there for Mak" I heard Daniel mumble
"Daniel were brothers through it all, he made a mistake" Jonah said
"haha yeah playing my sister was quite the mistake" Daniel said
"I'll meet you guys back here later" I said
"Okay" Zach said
I put the street name Mak sent me into google maps it was about a 10 minute walk. I made it to the sushi place and I saw Mak sitting down at a table for two through the glass window. She was stunning without even trying. I walked into the sushi place and sat across from her at the table.
"hey" I said
she took a deep breathe and answered with "hey" and she smiled at me but I could tell it was kind of forced. We sat in an awkward silence for as few moments before I decided to say something.
"Mak look, yes I was technically a thing with Mackenzie but we never actually dated or put labels on anything, and I started losing feelings for her as soon as I met you I promise, it's always been you ever since I first saw you, too make me forget about everyone else."
"Jack, I'm just scared that you'll hurt me similar to how you hurt her. What if you decide I'm not enough and you go and cheat on me?" She said
"Mak you're more than enough in fact if anything I'm not enough for you. You're the most stunning, down to earth, funny, smart, and talented person I know. I'm just a singer that has made some really bad mistakes but I want to be better for you" I said
"jack I just need to know did you ever tell her you loved her?" she asked
"yes" I said looking down
"Recently?" She asked in a worried tone
"Not once since I met you, like I said Mak I knew it was going to be you" I said
"Jack please promise me you're going to be one hundred percent honest with me from now on. I already have really bad trust issues from a past relationship, and I need to know I can trust you and know you won't keep things from me" she said
"I promise baby, can we start over?" I asked
"I'd like that" she said smiling
"Makenna Seavey, will you be mine?" I asked
"Always" she said
I smiled and leaned across the table and kissed her sweetly and passionately before pulling away. She bit her bottom lip and smiled at me.
"That never gets old" she said giggling
"can we have a chat about our pasts?" I said
"jack please don't make me" she said whining
"Baby you can trust me and I know I can trust you I think we both deserve to know" I said
"ugh fine" she said reluctantly
"You first" she said
"I dated a girl named Paige for a little while and it ended because of cheating, I say she cheated, she says I cheated, then you know about Mackenzie, and the girl I talked to for a little while when you were mad at me other than that I've never had any other serious relationships" I said "now you" I said to her
"Well I started dating this guy named Nathan when I was 14, probably mid way through freshman year, January 6th to be exact, anyways things were great and we dated for a year and one month until I found out he had been cheating on me, I found out from my old friend Bryan who heard Nathan talking about how he was so proud he was able to have two girls without me finding out. So anyways after I learned about that I confronted him about it and he admitted to it easily and I asked him when it started and he answered July 26th, my birthday he started cheating on me on my 15th birthday. When I broke it off he didn't even care he said it was fine because he had the other girl anyways and he didn't need me and the other girl was hotter anyways. That's the only relationship I've ever been in so there now you know why I have trust issues and need constant reassurance and will probably be the most annoying girlfriend ever" she said looking down
"Baby, don't ever feel like you're annoying me ever it is my job as your boyfriend to make sure you know you are amazing and that you are loved and that you can trust me, if your ever need reassurance, attention, or someone to talk to just say so because I'll drop anything for you" I said to her causing her to smile
"How did I get so lucky" she said
"I've been asking myself that since the night of the party" I said back to her
"We should head back to the boys" she said
"Yeah right your brother is going to murder me for coming to see you, then murder me again for getting you to stop being mad at me, then murder me one final time for making you tell me about Nathan" I said to her
"Babe come on we have to go you're the one that's suppose to be helping Corbyns girlfriend surprise him anyways" she said
"Fine but only because you finally called me babe" I said smiling at her
"Don't push it Avery" she said getting up
We walked out of the sushi place and I interlocked her hand with mine and she looked at me and smiled. Not going to lie I was terrified to see Daniel right now. The kid wouldn't hurt a fly, but mess with his family and it won't be pretty.
