Chapter 42

(maks pov)
i woke up in a bed, I assumed of the hotel we were staying at tonight before going to Portland. I still felt so sick, I was very nauseous and achy. There was no way I was going to be able to perform. Jack walked out of the bathroom and saw me awake.
"hey baby I carried you up here from the bus hope you don't mind. I was laying with you for a while but I had to go to the bathroom" jack said laughing
"that's okay, but jack I really don't think I can sing tonight" I said
"That's okay baby we came up with a plan Eben is going to do a small DJ set before hand and we have tweeted out to the fans so they know what's happening and they're totally fine with it. And good news pretty much everyone is supporting the relationship" he said smiling
"Yeah except the ones that think they're married to you and the ones that ship you and Aspen together" I said to him causing him to laugh
"I really don't want to leave you here while the concert is happening" he said to me
"babe please don't worry nothing is going to happen to me" I said to him grabbing his arm bringing him down to the bed
"I know I just worry about you and want to be there to protect you no matter what"he said cuddling me and kissing my forehead
"I know. But I'll only be alone for like 6 hours" I said to him "I can watch some Netflix and edit this weeks videos and maybe even go live"
"the guys and I are leaving here at like 5 to head over to the venue on the bus, it's 4:30 right now" he said
"where is everyone else?" I said
"They're all playing video games on the bus" he said
"Jack please go hang out with them you all are suppose to be experiencing this together and I don't want to take you away from them" I said
"you're not I want to be here for you" he said
"jack Avery I'm kicking you out to go have fun with your friends I will see you back here at 11:30 ish" I said pushing him up from the bed
"but babyyyyyyyyyyy" he whined
"no go" I said
he laughed and kissed me before leaving the room.
"I love you, call jade if you need anything she'll find a way to do something she said" he said to me
"I'll be fine babe good luck tonight love you too and have fun!!" I yelled the last part at him as he walked out of the room.
Being sick was so tiering . I turned on the tv and fell back to sleep to take a nap.
(Jacks pov)
I walked on the bus to see all the boys playing 2k
"Well look at this romeo decided to join us" jonah joked
"Shut up" I said laughing
"So what made you finally want to leave?" Daniel asked
"nothing I would have stayed with her till we had to leave but she kicked me out because she felt like she was taking me away from our experience" I said
"I need a girl like that, someone that always cares about everyone" zach said
"well to bad maks mine" I said
"Yeah but remember when she was almost mine" zach said smirking "and I didn't share a bed with her before you did" he said causing his smirk to grow
"ooooooooo" jonah said
"shut up,like she'd ever leave me for you" I said laughing but growing a little unsure of my answer
"what ever you say bro" zach said
It was five o'clock and the bus left to head to the venue. I was silent for most of the ride there thinking about zach and mak. Would she ever leave me for him? It makes sense they're the same age and she's already so close with him. Would she be better off with him? Is she happy with me? She says she loves me but does she?
"jack...jack....jack....JACK" Daniel said yelling the last one to get my attention
"What?" I said
"We're here. Do you want to talk about something you seem a little off" he said
"no I'm good just thinking" I said
