Chapter IV - The Elite Malus

The group quickly arrived in Zemog as the rain intensified. 

"We better fuel up. I'll be back." Vincent said as turned off the car and opened the door on the driver's side.

Vincent ran into the Zemog station to avoid getting wet by the rain.

All that was heard was the rain falling and nearby cars driving by on the road.

"I'm going to close the sunroof thing," Taurus said as he pulled the manual shade under the top window of Vincent's car.

Vincent walked out with his hood on while putting his wallet back in his pocket. He slowly walked to the car and suddenly stopped.

Mai noticed that he was staring just above the car and opened her door.

"Vincent?" Mai called out, standing on the support step to the vehicle.

A woman stood on top of the gas station and stared at Vincent.

"Can we help you?" Vincent called out as Mai jerked her head to witness the woman standing on the top of the station.

"So it is true... These eyes are more than just pretty." The woman exclaimed pretty loudly over the rain. 

The woman had purple slick back hair that reached her lower back. Her garments looked identical to the Incendium Army, except more revealing and trendy. Rather than being black with a yellow LED it displayed a bright fuschia.

"I'm Anastasia the Psychic from The Elite Malus of the Incendium Army."

The rest of the group stepped out of the car the minute they heard she was from Incendium.

"C'mon not now I need gas..." Vincent complained.

"What are you doing here?" Mai asked, trying to speak over the falling rain.

Anastasia laughed as a pink double-edged sword appeared from electricity and into her hands.

"The Elite Malus was formed as the superior soldiers, classified to take further action in eliminating the Light Conscript. You are the only things in our way to a new order." Anastasia explained.

Mizore threw a few ninja stars Anastasia's way but were dodged with ease.

Anastasia jumped into the air and landed on Vincent's car, leaving a small dent on it.

Taurus opened the trunk from the inside and rolled out while summoning his sword.

Ashton grabbed his scythe from the trunk and slashed towards Anastasia.

"C'mon pretty boy, show me what you got," Anastasia said as she blocked Asthon's attack, bringing them face to face. Mizore tried attacking from behind with her chakrams but failed as Anastasia was too quick.

Mizore cast the rain into a fast-moving stream, slapping Anastasia across the face, throwing her off of Vincent's car.

As Anastasia fell, Vincent ran to the gas pump placed the nozzle into the car, then quickly summoned his sword and attempted to slash into Anastasia's arm.

Anastasia was able to block it using the invisible force that is psychic casting.

Mai slashed her knives causing her and Anastasia to go back and forth, blow after blow. Mai had an opening where she kicked Anastasia to the ground and lifted her arm to throw four of her knives at her.

Anastasia cast a force from her body to push Mai off of her, while Mizore threw her chakrams at Anastasia.

The chakrams recoiled off of a pinkish force field. Anastasia then pushed the force field to the group and the car, but Vincent cast a wave of darkness, pushing the psychic force back; breaking it.
