Hundreds of WPO soldiers fired their weapons at the Incendium Army of Technology.
Crescent City was already engulfed in flames as Incendium Soldiers continued to infiltrate the large city.
The warm-toned cobblestone roads were cracked and completely destroyed. Many homes were broken into despite being completely vacant.
Axel, who was still out of his control, cast his gunblade from forming light particles and pointed it towards the interior of the castle.
Incendium Soldiers swarmed the inside of the castle while also being shot at.
"Unleash the hounds!" One of the Incendium commanders shouted as he stood outside the castle gates.
Behind him was a massive trailer holding a dozen inbred hell-hounds with wires attached to their veins and canons attached to their helmets.
The door to the trailer lifted as massive, drooling, and muscular hounds began digging their way out. The hounds immediately ran towards the castle and attacked any WPO soldier they saw.
One hound, in particular, mauled a soldier's face clean off with tremendous speed before even given the chance to fire their gun.
Meanwhile, Vincent led Taurus and Mizore inside the Light Temple discreetly as the war continued outside.
"I don't know why we were given this job if we can't do anything..." Taurus pouted yet again as the blonde crossed his arms and looked down at his dirty shoes.
"We're valuable. If we died then darkness would prevail," Mizore explained as Vincent searched one of the walls inside the Temple.
"What are you doing...?" Taurus asked as he leaned against the stone walls of the dark temple.
"There has to be some sort of evacuation door somewhere... This is where the ancients used to pray, they have to have something..."
"Vincent...? I kinda agree with Taurus though..." Mizore said as she reached out her arm to Vincent from afar.
Vincent stopped searching for a mechanism and stood up straight.
"You what?" Vincent said as he quickly turned around to face Mizore and Taurus.
Mizore stood still with a shocked expression on her face as Vincent with confusion on his.
"You guys never let me finish... Despite being valuable we can't sit here and do nothing..." Mizore began to argue as Taurus walked between the destroyed pews.
"Did you not hear yourself? Darkness would prevail and the Gods would be disappointed in the fact we couldn't keep order!" Vincent shouted.
"When did you start caring about the Gods? You become an Omen and suddenly you forget that we have jobs," Mizore shouted back, getting more furious while expressing it with her body language.
In the midst of Vincent and Mizore arguing, Taurus examined a small memorial for someone named "Leon,"
"Who is Leon?"Taurus asked, "You've been here, haven't you, Vincent?" Taurus slowly gazed over to Vincent.
Both Vincent and Mizore turned to Taurus and stopped arguing.
"That's Axel and Rin's brother... He would've been sixteen this year," Vincent explained as his voice got lower.
Mizore sighed and closed her eyes. She tilted her head back and held her breath calmly.
"What is it now..." Taurus asked as he slowly walked towards his siblings.
