Jacob walked through the portal and into a dark room that resembled a prison. The walls were made of stone with moss growing on them, and possible blood smeared all over them.

"What is this place?" Jacob asked, wondering where the dog had gone.

He opened a large door made of stone that blended into the walls. To his surprise, the outside world was a corrupted landscape. The sky was a bright red, with black clouds and an orange sun. The buildings seemed destroyed, but people were entering and exiting the buildings like nothing was wrong.

"Is this Limbo? What happened to it?" Jacob asked.

Previously, during the events of Genesis Reality, Jacob was lead by Delacroix through the paradoxes. Delacroix explained to him that there are many different dimensions and that it is easy to break the fifth wall.

Limbo, the paradox of darkness, was nothing like the visuals it is now. It now represents a corrupted dreamscape.

"Delacroix?!" Jacob shouted, hoping he would come out of the dark shadows of the world.

"I thought you wouldn't work for me anymore. Isn't that what you told Vincent?" Delacroix said as he walked out of a dark alley behind Jacob.

"It's nothing like that! I promise!" Jacob exclaimed, lying so he wouldn't get hurt.

"Are you sure? You know how easy it is for me to find everything out..." Delacroix said as he came closer to Jacob's face, monotone and all.

"What has happened to Limbo?" Jacob asked.

"The Yggdrasil of this world is dying. There is another rift in the Paradoxes, and I don't know who it is. They have the ability to suck the life out of people and things, and they are doing just that in this world." Delacroix explained.

"I'll help you stop them," Jacob said, determined to help even though he didn't want to be on Delacroix's side.

It was strange, but Delacroix was determined to do something right for the first time. To end another rift in a paradox, only to corrupt the paradoxes on his own.

"I will gladly summon you when I need your help. But as of now... we will have to wait and see until this cradle will fall. I wonder why the Gods haven't created a vessel to protect their precious paradox..." Delacroix pondered as he looked at the sky.
