The Chance is Lost...

Not again..

Lizzy's P.O.V

I tried to show weakness to who ever was trying to kidnap? Me. I tried to show weakness because if they thought they had the upper hand they wouldn't be as cautious. So once I had them I would have a chance to escape. But right now I was trying not  to shiver and panic as the person whispered against my neck.

"Well now you will walk with me and pretend that you know me. Do you understand?" He says and I pretend to struggle and scream but cant anyways.He grabs my arm and squeezes it really rough."Do YOU UNDERSTAND NOW!?" He half yells. I nod and fake cry."Don't cry and make drama!"

I couldn't figure out who the voice was coming from even though I've heard it before.I started to walk to where he was leading me but then I see Jake and Nico coming. I try to free myself or try to scream for real now but he (I'm just gonna go with that for now) grabs me and pushes me behind a tree so Jake wouldn't find us.I whimper from the hard push he gave me and he silences me by giving me another push.He looks over to where Nico and Jake are.

"Liz? Where are you."They both call out.

"Do not make a sound." He threatens me and looks over again. As he is looking his grip loosens and I notice this is my chance. So I kick him in his private area and take his hand away from my face.

"Nico!! Jake! Help me!!" I say as I run towards them but he jerks my arm.Nico and Jake both look in my direction and their eyes are filled with rage.

"Liz!" Jake says and runs to where he is keeping me.

"Look what you did!" the guy says as he slaps me.I wince and my eyes start to tear up.But I knew I couldnt be like this. I had to be strong. So I get up and kick him again. Then I run and go to where Nico is.I try not cry in his arms while he is hugging me but I give in and start sobbing.

"Its okay, You're okay..relax your safe now." He says while stroking my hair.

"Nico I-I wanna g..go..home." I say in between crying. 

"We are going home Liz relax..You're okay now." He says in a soothing voice.

As I look over to where I was he was gone.I just look away and don't ever want to come to this park. Ever again.

"Nico who was he..?" I ask.

"I'm sorry Liz..i don't know he was wearing a hat, with a hoodie, some dark shade of clothes, and I couldn't really look at his face." He says.

"I...its okay." I lied. It wasn't okay I felt so violated.I just wanted to hide away from everyone and not be close to anyone.After Nico and Jake have a talk about who it was  we start walking. I couldn't walk without my whole body stinging especially my back and sides.

"I..It hurts.." I say as I wince at every step.

"Its okay, Liz here." Jake says as he picks me up bridal style and starts walking towards his car. Once we get to the parking lot Jake puts me in the back seat and tells Nico to drive.While we were driving Jake assures me everything will be okay and cradle's me in his arms.On the way there I start to doze off and end up sleeping in Jake's arms.When we got come I woke up to the light of my bedroom.

"Its okay..Go to sleep." I hear Jake say and set me down on my bed for me to rest.I crawl under the covers to be able to sleep.Once I fall asleep I start to have nightmares. I dreamt I was still in his hands getting hurt once again. I try to scramble but am trapped by darkness and misery all over again.

"Its okay...I'm here Liz..calm down..Its okay you're safe." I hear someone say.

I wake up immediately and I am in someone's arms. I didnt care who it was I just hugged them and started to cry in there chest.

"Its okay..It's okay..You're safe now.." I hear Jake's voice say.

I kind of relax as I realize I am in my room. Once I stopped trembling and crying Jake put on some Spongebob and tucked me in bed once more.

"Jake...don't leave." I say as I hug him once more.

"I wont." He says and hugs me back.

I nod and wipe my tears away.Once we are watching Spongebob my phone rings. 

"I got it." Jake says as he stand up to answer my phone."Hello?"

"Hello?Who is this?" the person the phone said.

"Jake..who is this?" 

"Ohh, well is Liz home I want to talk to her?" I recognize its Leo.

"Ohh, not now she just had an incident and is in shock." Jake tells Leo.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE HAND AN INCIDENT?!" Leo questions.

"I dont know how to explain." Jake says.

"Jake let me see the phone really quick please." I say and extend my hand out for Jake to give me the phone.

"But...-"

"It's okay I can talk now." I say as Jake gives me my phone.

"Hello Leo."

"Liz! Are you okay?!" Leo asks alarmed.

"Yes..well I dont know." I admit.

"I should of been there for you. I'm sorry Liz." 

"It's okay..I'm sorry Leo I cant talk right now my whole body stings when I talk or even move." I say.

"I uhh I no..I.. Okay, but when you get better you have to call me please. I want you to tell me what happened." Leo says.

"Yeah..no problem...I promise." I say and hand the phone to Jake.

"Sorry Leo, but she needs to rest right now." Jake says."Yeah..okay..yes...ok..yes okay bye." Jake says and hangs.

"Would you stay with me today?" I ask Jake.

"Yes no problem." Jake says and sits next to me.

"Goodnight Jake." I say and crawl under the covers again.

"Goodnight Liz." Jake says and puts another blanket around me.

I fell asleep after watching some T.V with Jake and hoped not have any nightmares.
