The Chance is Lost...

The Hospital

Lizzy's P.O.V

As soon as I heard Leo was in the hospital I hung the phone up and rushed to change into whatever I could find.I didn't care if I looked like I just woke up I needed to get to Leo and now.I rushed to put on my shoes and into Nicos room.He wasn't asleep he was watching anime.I barged into his room.

"Nico!Leo is in the hospital you are either coming with me or not!"I said and he looked at me for 30 seconds."We don't have time!He could die!" 

"I am going..."He said and put on his shoes.He slowly walked over from his bed to the door so I literally grabbed him and dragged him into the car.He was complaining of why we had to go now and it was irritating.

"I am driving!So be quiet!"I said in frustration.

"Sorry..sorry"He mumbled.It took us about 15 minutes to get to the hospital Leo was in.As soon as I parked my car I ran into the hospital and asked where Leo was.

"It will take a minute.Please wait."The lady said.

"I don't have a minute!" I said."I need to see him now!" and with that the lady typed his named and told me as quickly as possible what room he was in.I raced to his room and left Nico behind.I entered his room tears filled my eyes.He hand bandages on both of his wrists.His parents were sitting beside his bed.They noticed me and welcomed me to come in.

"Why would he do this?"His mom asked me.Her eyes red from crying.

"I am sorry.This is my fault.I was too harsh on him." I said.Both of his parents looked at me confused and explained everything to them.

"It wasn't your fault honey."His mom said.

I sighed."You guys should go get some rest I will stay with him."

"No.We are his parents we should be here."His Dad said.

"Yes,I know but you guys need some rest." I said and finally convinced them to go home and sleep.As they left I went up to Leo and stroked his hair."Why would you do this?Why would you want to hurt yourself." I stayed in his room until I grew restless and fell asleep beside him holding his hand.

Leos P.O.V

I woke up in a room connected to all these machines.I felt someones hand touching mine so I tugged it away.I looked beside me and noticed it was Liz.I looked at my wrist and noticed they were bandaged.They were filled with blood.I stirred a bit which woke up Liz.She looked up a bit dazed but when she got her senses back she looked at me wide eyed.

"Leo!You idiot!Why would you try to kill yourself?!"She said.I couldn't say anything.I couldn't think straight.

"I'm sorry."I said but I knew that wasn't going to cut it.

"Sorry?Sorry.Do you realize you could have died?!What would I do with out you Leo?"She said and started to cry.I felt bad.I was stupid.But then anger took over me.

"What would you do without me?What a stupid statement.You could do everything without me.You could continue having your relationship with Jake.You wouldn't have to worry about me getting the way of you and Jake."I said.She didn't answer."You know I am right.You know that I am just a problem."

"You aren't a damn problem!You are stupid!"She shouted."Do you realize what you are saying?" 

"Yes I do.Its the truth.The truth hurts."I say.

"Stop...."

"Stop what?Saying what is true?" 

"Stop being such a idiot!You seriously have no reason to try kill yourself!You are so stupid!"

"Stupid for loving you!"I shouted.I froze.I shouldn't have said that.

"I see..."

"No..I am sorry.I didn't mean that.I am so sorry." 

"No its okay...I understand." she said and started to get up to leave.I grabbed her arm and pulled her in for a hug.She struggled to make me let her go."Let  me go..please.."

"I am sorry..."I whispered into her ear.

"No stop it!

"I am sorry...please forgive me.I love you Liz." I said and she started to  cry even more.

"You don't!You just said you don't!Leave me alone!"She shouted but I just hugged her closer as she tried to push me away.

"Please...forgive me."I say and cup her face.I lean into kiss her.She tries to pull away.I stop and we stare into each others eyes.

"You idiot.."She whispers and I kiss her again.

"I am sorry.." 

"No..."

"Please.."I say but she manages to get free and  leaves.

Nico's P.O.V 

My sister had been at least more than an hour in Leo's room.I was tired of waiting so I went to go check on her. As I was going to go check on her.I bump into her in the hallway.She is crying.

"Hey.Whats wrong?" I ask.

"Nothing.I want to go home."She says and hugs me.

I didn't know what happened in the room but I knew she didn't want to talk about it.I nodded and we walked to the car.I would be driving this time.As we drove home she fell asleep in the back seat.I wondered what had happened in that room.I was going to have to ask her.But not right now.We drove in silence all the way home.Once we got home I opened the back seat door and carried her inside.I was going to take her up to her room but I knew she would do something stupid if I left her alone.So I decided she would sleep with me tonight.I didn't sleep at all that night because I couldn't help wondering what had happened.
