The Chance is Lost...

Confronting My Mom

Lizzy's P.O.V 

We were right outside my house and Leo had a black eye and blood smeared all over his face.Great way to enter my house while my Mom was probably watching TV or preparing a snack for us.My hands trembled as I reached for the knob,but I took a deep breath in opened the door.And to no surprise my mother was making some snacks.She was cutting some sandwiches in half.

"Welcome hom-" she dropped the knife."What happened to you Leo?!"She got out in ice pack from the freezer and gave it to Leo to place over his eye."Are you okay?" 

Leo nodded but he winced as he lifted up his hand to put the ice over his eye.I helped him put it over his eye.Even though I tried to stop the fight I felt very useless at the moment.I was worried about Leo.He seemed to show he was a in a little pain when he was actually in a lot.I looked at my mom.

"He will be fine sweetie." she assured me."Why don't you take him to bedroom so you can take care of him while I get the Dr.?"

I nodded and helped Leo up.He winced and I grimaced at the sound of that."Sorry." 

"Its okay.I can walk on my own." He got up and started walking up the stairs.He didn't look like he was okay.

"What happened sweetie?" my mom asked.

"Ill explain later Mom.Be right back." she nodded and I went up to my room.Leo was in the bathroom cleaning off his face.

"L-Leo...lay down..Ill take care of you for now.." I said as I wet a towel to wipe the blood off.He smiled and went to go lay down.He slid into my bed and I moved the pillows to make him as comfortable as possible.Once I was finish wiping off the blood of his face.,I held the ice pack for him."You better?"

"You don't have to do any of this you know.Its not even that bad.My face just hurts a little that's all." 

"I don't think so Mr."

"Fine,but can you wear one of those sexy nurse outfits?"

"And still joking.Do you need anything else?"

"No."

"Are you hungry?Do you want to watch a movie or the TV?Are you cold?"

"Nonono I'm fine.Stop worrying so much.I'm fine.Well maybe you can put some Hetalia to lighten up the mood." 

"Right away." I turned on my computer and plugged it into the TV."What season?"

"The movie is funny...that one.."I played the movie and sat on the edge of my bed."Come closer.." I didn't want to hurt Leo so I kept my distance."Closer." I got close enough for him to be able to talk in a whisper but he pulled me in so I could sit on his lap."Better."

"But you're hurt.I don't want you to strain yourself.." 

"I'm fine." 

"Okaay.Are you sure you don't need anything else?"

"Yeeeess.Hah Italy and his Flags..."

"yeah." I kept worrying about Leo because even though he just had a black eye he also had a broken nose and it didn't stop bleeding.I shoved to small pieces of tissue paper up his nose to stop the blood while the doctor came.

"Lizzzy cure me lots and lots of kisses!" He said as  I slowly slid off his lap.

"I cant.Sorry.Just wait until the doctor gets here."

"I don't need a doctor.Just come here.."

"Leo!Quit it!You're only going to hurt yourself more!" he stopped and looked away."Sorry..I didn't mean to scream."
