The Chance is Lost...

Nico!!

Lizzy's P.O.V

Zzzzz... I was having such a great sleep. Until someone had to call me! Ugh why?! I wake up and my red and black hair is all messed up. I get up,pat my hair down so it wont be very fluffy from the top and check the clock its 12:34 A.M. 

"Why!? Whoever called me is dead!" I say as I walk over to were my phone is. I check who it was. It said "Ricky".....I answer.

"Hellooooo?" I say in my morning voice.

"Hello Good morning" He says.

"Ugh Ricky what do you want I am kinda of busy right now?" OKAY. That was a lie but still I was tired and lazy.

"Well sorry babe but well I just wanted to know if I could chill at your house later?" 

"What? Oh yeah sure okay. I will call you as soon as my day is cleared. And don't call me babe please." I say as I hang up my IPhone and threw it on my bed.

As I was going to go and brush my teeth my stomach growls. I didn't even care what I was wearing I mean it was the weekend,my Mom is out on a business trip and well I'm alone its not like I have anyone else other than my best friends Alyssa and Destiny. Which I'm sure aren't gonna come at this time of hour. As I slowly walk over to my door I hear my phone ring again. I walk over to by bed and pick up the phone.

"Hello Ricky if this-" 

"Whoa hold on there Liz its not Ricky or Ricky or whatever its Nico." Nico says.

"OHH! Nico...hehe whats up? How's it been going lately?" I ask 

"Haha its been fine Liz I'm here in California and a few minutes away from home." he says.

"Ohh what your coming home!?!" I ask quite excited.

" yeah but don't worry its only till mom comes back." Nico says.

"Ohh well uhh I will be waiting for you outside I want you to meet someone." I say as calm as possible.\

"okay well bye." He says as he hangs up.

I couldn't believe Nico my brother was coming home! It been like forever! I didn't even care I was hungry I ran into my closet picked out a red and black Fall out Boy shirt and some lace shorts. Once I got all my stuff ready I jumped into to the shower and took a shower as quick as I could. Once I came out of a fresh bath and changed into my new  clothes I ran to my bed and called Leo immediately. 

"Huh Hello?" Leo says in his dreamy morning voice.

"Hey Leo do you think you would be able to come over? I want you to meet someone!" I say.

"Huh yes? Who is this?" He asks.

"Leo wake up its Liz...." I say.

"Ohh yes,yes I will be there any minute now. Just wait..Bye Later." He says.

"Bye." I hang up.

I run to my closet and almost trip on the way over there even though its only a few feet away. I pick out some white and red converse and black socks. Once I put on my shoes I dash out of my room and into the hallway. Once I go downstairs and make a left turn from where the libary is I end up at Nico's room.His door is just the way he left it. His "Keep out!" sign and all the band stickers he had on it. Even though the sign said Keep out I still went into his bedroom. I checked that everything was perfect. And it was. His bed left clean and neat. His closet full of more band stickers and his electric and acoustic guitar still in their place as left. As I was gonna clean some dust off of his desk where he kept a picture of him and me as little kids I hear someone ring the doorbell and knock. I race to see who it is. I look outside the window and see Nico! I open the door quickly and  give him a very tight hug. 

"Nice to see you too." He says as he hugs me back.

"I missed you so much!" I say.

"Yeah I can see that. Well it feels nice to be home once more. Oh and I missed you a lot too!" He says as he smiles and twirls me around."Hah well you have grown a lot little sis." 

"HEY!! DON'T- Never mind i don't care I'm just glad you are here!" 

"Hahaha okay whatever you say! Hey you wanted me to meet someone didn't you?" He asks.

"Yeah but that person is gonna come later." I say.

"Ohh well okay I guess. Well I will be right back I'm going to get my stuff out my car" He says as he starts to head out for his car.

"Do you need help?" I ask.

"No is okay." he replies.

" I don't think so its just  suitcases," He says.

I nod but still don't I want to help. I dash past Nico and manage to get hold of car keys. I walk over to his car waiting for him to notice but he doesn't so I just open the car and get out his suitcases from the back seat.I thought they would be really heavy but they weren't. As I got the last suitcase out I notice the rest are already inside. Damn Nico! As I roll the suitcase in the house I notice Nico is talking to someone on the house phone.

"Uhh no I don't think so...Who is this?" Nico says.

"Hello Nico who is it?" I ask.

"Someone called Leo?" He says as he puts his hand over the phone.

"Ohh Leo I know give the phone to me please " I say as I extend my hand out for the phone.

"Yeah okay I guess." He says as he hand me the phone.

"Hello?" I say as I grab the phone.

"Hey Liz whats up Im like right outside." He says.

"Leo will come on in" I say as I was about to hang up.

"NO! wait Liz! No never mind okay." He says as he hangs up.

As I hand the phone to Nico so he would put it back in its place he looks at me curiously.

"Yes?" I ask.

"Who was that?"He asks.

"He is a fri-" I didn't get to finish because Leo came in house.

Nico looked like as if he had seen a ghost. I guess he couldn't believe someone just walked in our house like that.

"Hey Lizzy whats up? So how did you want me to meet?" Leo asks not even noticing Nico.

"And you are?" Nico asks. Leo flinched when he heard Nico.

"Leo...Lizzy's best friend..." Leo said thinking of his words.

"Ohh...okay..." Nico says.

I was really nervous for them to meet because I thought Nico wouldn't like me hanging out with guys. i sure was right to be nervous because I could see Leo didn't really like Nico and Nico didn't like Leo that much either. After a few seconds of silence I said,"Nico this is Leo my bestfriend and Leo this is Nico my older brother."

"Ohh! Your older brother! Phew I thought he was like someone else like you- ah never mind it doesn't matter Nice to meet you Nico" Leo grins.

"Ohh Nice to meet you too Leo" Nico says.
