The Chance is Lost...

Lazy Day

Lizzy's P.O.V

It was at least like 10 in the morning when I  feel someone shaking me and telling  me to wake up.

"Wake up!! I want some food...what food do you want?!" I hear Nico say.

I didn't  move and hoped he would just go away but he didn't.Instead he took my blanket away and dragged me out of bed.

"You awake now?" He says and I slowly walk back to my bed.

"M..mmm wakey wakey..no.Sleepy sleepy yes..."I say and lay down once again.

"Whatever then later don't come complaining to me that you are hungry because I am not getting you anything."He teased.

"Mhmm..."

You heard him left and went back to sleep since it was a really hot day and you didn't feel like doing anything.After I slept like for 3 more hours I finally decided to get up and go to the beach or at least go somewhere cool.I get up and stretch out.I walk over to my closet picked out some random shorts and a shirt that said "Keep it Cool." I hopped into the shower and took a nice long relaxing shower.Once I got out I realized I was in there for a full 34 minutes.I change into my new outfit and decide to invite Jake to go to the beach with me.After I made some snacks and got all my beach stuff ready I went to pick up Jake who looked exhausted,but cute in his beach shorts and a stripped shirt.His hair was kind of messed up and didn't look like he fixed it. 

"Hey..you ready to go?" I ask.

"Yeah...I could use a relaxing day with you."He said and kissed my cheek.We both headed to my car and put on the radio.We both decided that nothing would make this day better so we turned off the video and drove to the beach in silence.As I stopped at a red light I glanced over at Jake and notice he had a glint of sadness in his eyes.

"Whats wrong?" I ask.

"Huh?What do you mean?" He says and looks at me.

"You..look sad."

"Ohh you can tell?" He says.

"Well..I can.Are you okay?"I say and he nods although I don't believe him."You're lying.Tell me whats wrong or else I will pull this car over and wait until you tell me."

"OK.I will tell you just keep driving I want to get to the beach already."He says."Well you know I just have been thinking a lot lately.."

That makes my heart sink."What do you mean?"

"Well I have been thinking you know about us..."Jake says."And well..I just have been thinking of a lot of things." 

"Uhm Jake you are scaring me...is there something wrong with us?"

"No....Well yes."

"What is it Jake?" You ask trying to keep calm.

"I don't think we shoul-"I didn't let him finish.

"I understand." You say and your eyes start to tear up.

"You don't understand.I love you Liz but.."

"But you don't want to be together anymore.."I finish but he looks at me in confusion.I wipe tears from my  face .

"Why would you say I don't want us to be together anymore?" Jake asks."No I was going to say I love you Liz but I really do wish we could be together,never apart.Also that I will never forget you.I see you everywhere I look and love you for you."He says and I smile.He looks at me and gives me a kiss which makes up for giving me a huge heart attack.

Once we arrived at the beach I put on some sunblock and so did Jake.We found a perfect spot.There was not many people so we were glad.Once we set down our stuff we walked over to the edge of the water.I closed my  eyes and waited for the little wave of water to touch my feet.I felt the small warm breeze flow through my hair.I was enjoying the moment until Jake had to grab me and twirls me around before throwing me into the water.I get up from the water and wipe the water from my face so I could see Jake but before I knew it another wave came and made me fall.As soon as got up again I walk over to Jake who was smiling.

"Oh...Hey whats up?Oh you went into the water without me.." He says innocently.

"Jake!!You motherf-"

"Lizzy language."He says.

"Don't you tell me about language Mr.You are going apologize right now or.." I stopped and thought for a second.As soon as I was going to speak Jake kissed me and shut me right up.This kiss was a magical kiss for some odd reason it was really special.

"I'm sorry." He says and pouts.

"Its okay.I think you made your point."I said and pushed him into the water.

He smiled and got up to pulled me into the water too.The water was really cool and refreshing.We spent a couple  more minutes in the water before heading back to our let set up with our food,in a portable mini fridge.As we  walked over to the food we realized we made a mistake in not bringing our sandals from the car since the sand was burning into our feet.Once we finally reached the food we decided to eat in the car.So we went to go change in the bathroom and get rinsed up.Once we did that we headed back to the car and got out the sandwiches I made and some Arizona drinks I brought along.

"You look so adorable.."Jake says as I put my bangs up.

"Pfft..."

"Its true..."

"Okay.Sure."

We kept talking on and on about how this day was really hot and about Creepypasta.Once we finished eating I threw the trash out and we decided to head to my house.

"You done yet?" I called Jake who was in the shower.

"Coming!"He answered.It took a while to drive back home because we decided to stay and watch the sunset.But we made it home just in time before Nico came clearly drunk.So we lead him to his room and let him sleep.I was petting my puppy while I waited for Jake.As Jake came out he flashes a smile,winked at me and ran his hand through his hair.

"What was that?" I asked as he sat down and leaned in to kiss me.

"Well..I don't know.I just know that I love you."

"I love you too!"I say and crash onto my bed.As soon as I crash onto the bed I fall asleep and I knew that I wouldn't be waking up sooner or later.I whispered goodnight to Jake and pulled him into a Bear hug close to me so we could sleep.He squirmed a bit and then adjusted so my head was on his chest and he was hugging me.He kissed my forehead before we both fell asleep.
