It was lunch break right now and we were sitting at our usual spot. Me and Dylan couldn't help but notice Emma and Nathan flirting with each other. And the pink tint on their cheeks was noticeable from even a mile away.

Over exaggeration Mel, over exaggeration.

But seriously tho, they just couldn't stop!

"Is it just me or are they really flirting with each other?" Dylan leans in and asks,

"They are, in fact, flirting with each other." I reply,

"I think it's time we do something."

"What?"

"We play Cupid!" He said and I couldn't get anymore excited. I think it's the first time I'm actually agreeing with him.

We finished our lunch, I took my tray and place it right where it's supposed to be. "So what's our plan?" Dylan comes right behind me, startling me.

"Gosh you scared me!" I said which only made him grin.

"What should we do though?" He asks,

"We need to come up with plans. We meet up at Starbucks, right after school." I said and he nodded.

I was waiting for Dylan at Starbucks, sipping my s'mores drink. Yeah, day at school went by like a blur. Nothing interesting except watching Emma and Nathan flirt.

"Sorry I'm late." Dylan apologized once he sat down on the chair opposite of mine.

"Really late, not just late." I correct him.

"I'm sorry. Anyways, what's our plan?" He asks.

I start thinking of a plan but get non in my mind. Where does my brain go when I need it? After hours of thinking-

Over exaggeration Mel, over exaggeration.

-anyways, after forcing my brain and mentally beating up my brain to think, I finally got an idea. "Alright I've got a plan." I say and Dylan's face lit up.

"Ok so this is what we'll do. I know Emma and she loves to find clues that leads to something. Kinda like playing detective. So I'll make chits, writing down things that'll lead from one thing to another and at the end it'll say, "would you go out on a date with me? And she'll probably say yes. We'll set up a candlelight dinner in a garden. That's really romantic and she'll love it. What say?"

"That...is... GREAT! I'll tell Nathan something, and make sure that he reaches the place before time. You are a genius pumpkin!"

"Yup, that's me, that's what I am." I agree.

"One more thing, can we just wear all black everything while setting this up?" He asks,

"Why?"

"Just like that." He says, making me roll my eyes but agree.

Me and Dylan were at his house, I was writing down on the chits, and he was talking to Nathan on the phone. Then he called Emma and asked her to go somewhere so I could put these at her house.

"Distraction?" I ask,

"Done." He says, "chits?"

"Done."

"So this is what it says", I showed the chits to Dylan,

Chit no. 1- what's your ex's name? Walk into the kitchen to find the answer.

Chit no. 2- "Will". Next question,
P, Q, R, S, T, ...?
Walk into the living room for the answer.

Chit no. 3- "U". Next question, opposite of come is? Find out the answer in the garden.

Chit no. 4- "Go". What's the opposite of "in"?
The answer is in the flowers,

Chit no. 5- "Out". Finish the sentence, "My book was ... her." Answer is in the pool.

Chit no. 6- "With." Final question,
...., myself and I. What's the first word?
Answer is in your room.

Chit no. 7- "Me." Join these words and find the final sentence in your closet.

Chit no. 8- "Will you go out with me?" If it's a yes, get dressed, go downstairs and wait outside, I'll pick you up.

"So, how's it?" I ask,

"It's brilliant! But the pool part, won't the paper get wet?" He asks,

"I'll laminate it."

"Oh ok."

"You go place these chits at her place. I'll go set up the table in the garden."

"It's time for execution." He said and I nod.

We both leave his house at the same time, enter our cars and drove away in separate directions.

I drove to a garden that was filled with flowers and trees, it was just beautiful. I found a giant tree next to so many roses and decided that was a great spot.

The question in your guy's mind: how are you gonna set up the table?

I thought about everything before coming here. A friend of mine is an event organizer, her people will be here in any moment and will set up everything.

Just say it y'all, I'm great.

In not time, the guys were here and they set up the table and lights and everything. It was 7:30 right now and they all left. I called Dylan- yeah I have his number, don't judge- "chits placement?" I ask,

"Check. Candlelight set up?"

"Check."

"Go home and get ready because it's show time!"
