It was a week later at school, and Jon hadn't seen Evan around much. He sat down at his bench and took out leftover pizza from the night before. He suddenly heard someone walking towards him, as he looked up to see no other than Evan himself. He froze in place holding his pizza half way to his mouth. Evan smiled at him politely and asked if he could sit down with him. Once he sat down he casually asked "Do you always sit out here by yourself?" Jon paused for a moment feeling really awkward, "yeah". Evan smiled a bit again "It must be nice, I mean... I would love to just sit out here by myself for a while" – "I could leave if-" Evan cut him off by a small laugh, "No man, it's fine... I mean this is your place anyways right?" – "Yeah..." Evan smiled at Jon.

Jon couldn't understand why Evan was sitting with him, he knew how nice he was but, he was always doing something with someone. "Why are you out here with me?" Jon blurted out, regretting it immediately after. Evan looked over at him confused "What do you mean?" – "You've never talked to me before...don't you think I'm weird too?" Evan smiled "I've just never gotten the chance to talk to you is all, I don't think you're weird"--"Y-you don't?" Jon said looking like a lost puppy, Evan shook his head and leaned back "Nah, why – do you think I'm weird?" – "NOT AT ALL" Jon quickly replied back, jumping at his own reply, getting another small laugh out of Evan. "Well that's good... there's no problem then". He spoke as he continued to sit back and closed his eyes.

Jon continued to eat his lunch as he heard a soft snore beside him. He looked over to see Evan with his eyes closed and mouth wide open, sleeping soundly. Jon leaned over and watched him for a bit but quickly jumped back realizing what he was doing, as he sat there with a slight blush on his face. He took a deep breath and poked Evan on the shoulder a few times, feeling his skin. Evans eyes slowly opened up, as he yawned and moaned, making Jon turn forward again with even more of a blush on his face. "Did I fall asleep?" Evan sleepily said, making it even harder for Jon to act normal. "Yeah-yeah...you did" Jon said slowly, "Oh, sorry about that, I haven't gotten that much sleep lately I guess" Evan said as he started to rub his eyes "Is lunch over?"—"Almost"—"Alright well I guess we should go in then"

Jon and Evan walked to the school and then parted ways to their own classrooms. Jon instantly turned the corner from Evan and sunk to the floor, he couldn't believe he just had lunch with Evan Fong.
