Page 7 -- ( Evan's Chapter )
All his life he's been admired, but he never really understood until he was older, that he was attractive. When he was a kid he thought to himself that he could literally be anything, and it wasn't because he personally thought that he had all the talents, but because everyone around him, taught him that he could do anything. There was always that touch of superiority inside him as a child because of that, but when he got older he realized how breakable and brittle that way of life was. He didn't want people to be around him because of how he looked, but instead he wanted people there because of how he acted and treated people in general. School wasn't a good example for him in that sense, since everyone instantly saw him and wanted to talk to him and be friends with him because of his looks.
It was a normal day in school when he finally noticed the weirdest kid, he was sitting there with his headphones in, and playing on his phone. He even screamed at one point while playing the game. Evan instantly loved this person, but he knew they didn't talk much or socialize. This was the life style Evan would have loved to live. He would continue to watch this guy act out in ways that Evan could never do, he was just all around free. You could tell he didn't care much about others opinions, and Evan absolutely admired that.
He eventually found out his name when his friends were talking about him, they were talking about how weird he was, but that just made Evan want to talk to him more, he wanted to understand Jon and after bumping into him one day he finally got the courage to talk to him at lunch. Evan was ecstatic but he wanted to remain cool and calm since he didn't want to scare Jon in any way. Finally Evan had got himself at Jon's side but it was short lived when Jon pushed him away.
Evan couldn't understand the situation, he knew he didn't do anything wrong and he wasn't sure how to act since he's always had people flock around him, but this time someone left him, intentionally. He absolutely hated it, and it just made him want Jon in his life even more. A couple days later he tried to talk to Jon again, but he just ignored him and continued walking. Jon was literally driving Evan insane. Evan didn't know what he wanted but he knew that he hated not having Jon by his side anymore, even if they barely knew each other.
