The next day at school, Evan still showed up to lunch and Jon, being scared of Evan leaving him, he never brought up what the girls said yesterday. As Jon began walking to the same class, he once again heard some people behind him. "Great..." he whispered to himself, and not even within thirty seconds, was he already pushed against the same wall, facing the same four angry faces. Without even hesitating or saying anything, the same girl punched him in the gut again. "Do I seriously have to do this every day, before you stop?" she said, as another girl laughed at her comment. "Not like I would mind... but I would think that you would" she finished saying, and then continued to punch him again. "How about, every time... Ill increase it... so tomorrow you get three"—"Or are you done with him?" she looked up at him waiting for a reply. "I c-" –"what the fuck are you doing?!" A familiar voice yelled out. Jon and the four girls looked over to see Evan. Once he got close enough he repeated himself, staring right at the girl in front of Jon. None of the girls said anything, and they were about to run away. Evan turned the girl in front of Jon towards him "If you dislike who I decide to hang out with, that's your problem alright? You don't get to have a say in it, there's seriously nothing I hate more than people who think they control everything". Evan then grabbed Jon's arm and left the girls standing there.
— Later at work —
"What's wrong, Jon?" Amara asked seeing Jon with his face down on the table. "I can't do this anymore" he mumbled out, not lifting his face from the table. Amara sat down beside him "Did you tell him?"—"I shouted it... while a train was going by"—"I want to say good job, but you know that doesn't count right?" he mumbled something, into the table, making her ask him to repeat himself. "I saw him with another girl, and so now they want me to leave him alone" He said sighing at the end "You didn't agree to that though, right?"—"I don't think I can..." Amara replied with an "aw" sound, and then said "Well that's good, you better not give up, I'm rooting for you"—"What am I suppose to do though? How am I supposed to move forward from this?"—"Just tell him how you feel then"—"How am I supposed to do that?"—"Just go up to him and tell him you like him, at least it will done and over, like I said before" Jon sighed again, He didn't know what he was going to do, but he knew one thing for sure, the pain that he was feeling all over his body wasn't going to go away until all this was over.
