“Luke go right, no your other right! Jeez what did I tell you about your rights and lefts!? Your right is the side that doesn’t form an L with your pointer finger and your thumb! Jeez and you call yourself a spy!” Lyn screamed into the earpiece that helped her communicate with her team.
“Well sorry! I’m kind of in a rush here. Which way now Lyn?” Luke asked getting frantic everyone who knew Gwendolyn called her Lyn, there were few people who even knew her full first name, just her team and the council leaders. He cast a wary eye around the ally he was stuck in he wasn’t sure if the men were still trailing him but he knew he was in trouble since he went the wrong way.
“Well now you’ve done it. I told you to go right now you’re going to have to fight your way out!” Lyn told him as she stood up from her spot on the roof of a building three blocks over. She had told her team to scatter when they noticed the men in dark suits following them.
“What! It’s five against one!” Gwendolyn heard Luke exclaimed
“Quit being such a baby Luke! We know you can take them!” Ryan answered back, he was somewhere in the middle of the city by a park and happy that he wasn’t the one the men had chosen to follow.
“Yeah, just because I can do it doesn’t mean I want to.” Luke answered back, sulking like a child.
“Oh alright, I’ll be right there.” Lyn told them with a sigh as she got up and jumped across the city skyline to get to Luke. “Max any luck on IDing the men?” She asked while she swung across a clothing line to a balcony above Luke’s head.
“Yeah, they work for Sanchez, apparently they got lucky and noticed us leaving the premises during the heist, I told you guys that the roof had better access! Anyway there are five coming your way.” Max said. Oh good, Lyn thought as she noticed the men enter the ally, she crouched low on the balcony hiding from view.
“Hey! Thief! Where’s your little band now!? They scared of the big bad men?” One of the men taunted. They stalked closer to Luke who was staying still as he watched them advance. “What they didn’t want to join the party?” The man sneered as he picked up a crow bar and began weighing it, preparing to use it like a bat. Gwendolyn smiled as she readied herself. She suddenly jumped.
“Did someone say party?” She asked as she fell to a crouch right in front of the men they gasped in suprise and one or two fell back, until they realized with a start that it was just a little girl. With a cruel smile they advanced again. “I’m in.” Lyn said with a knowing smile as she straitened up and got to work.

“That was awesome!” Luke exclaimed loudly as the team entered the council building he was still jumping around like a little kid on a sugar high. Lyn smiled to herself it had been fun seeing those guys pee themselves. Shaking her head she turned to her team.
“Alright go freshen up guys I’m gunna go deliver the paintings to their owners. I’ll call when I have our next job.” She said with a nod as she walked away. A small serving man detached himself from the shadows and followed after her. She smiled pretending that she didn’t see him, whatever he wanted she would find out soon enough.

Gwendolyn hurried to push down the front of the shirt which was a tad to tight and kept riding up. She kept forgetting that the shirt was getting too small for her and changing into it by accident. Sadly she didn’t have time to change the King of Rhia had called to have an audience with her. The small serving man from the other day had handed her the note asking for an audience yesterday. The King was the head of the Fairy council and a powerful air faye. As she worried about being late she noticed her shirt riding up again.
