Zamon watched as I told him what happened. I was weary. Caroline was also Zamon's mother,  and he hardly knew her at all. But he just sat there, watching me with non-judgemental eyes. We were sitting on the cold concrete stairs that led to the lower level of the motel.

It had been about 20 minutes since Hunter stormed off. He wasn't answering his phone,  and I was really worried. He was in an emotionally vulnerable state, and who knows what he could do. But we were on the other side of the country,  so trying to find him would be like a needle in a hay stack.

"Look, Hunter was probably caught up in his feelings of you. He's waited more then 3 months too see you,  and the first night he finally gets too, he finds out your hiding stuff from him. Plus, you accused him of something that he clearly didn't do."

"But how do you know he didn't do it?" I retorted. He gave me an incredulous look. "I've seen the footage. It's clear that Sebastian shot Kyle. Plus, do you really think Hunter would have kept that from you for so long?" We stared at each other for a minute,  before I slumped my shoulders and put me head in my hands. "God I'm a fucking idiot."

I felt Zamon's hand on my back. He rubbed slowly,  in a comforting gesture. "No you're not." I leaned into him, grateful for the gesture. He wrapped his arm around me, and I placed my head on his shoulder.

"I miss this." he whispered against my head. My eyes widened in shock, and I began to pull away. He realized his mistake, and did the same. We turned and looked at each other, without saying anything. I watched as his gaze flicked lower down my face. Nervousness settled into the pit of my stomach. He inched closer, and I froze. He paused,  and opened his mouth to say something. Before he could, a cough interrupted us. Hunter was my first thought and I was quick to think of a plausible excuse,  but when I looked down the stairs I realized it was Jason, standing with an accusing look. He turned his eyes on Zamon.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" his voice was harsh. Zamon glanced at me quickly, before replying with a short, "Sure". He hurried down the stairs, and disappeared from my sight.

Hunter still wasn't back by 10 am the next morning, so I decided to take drastic action. I sat with everyone else, other then Jack and Jason who were out, in JJ and Ryan's room. Apparently they'd made their relationship official about a month ago. I couldn't say I was shocked, considering that time I'd accidently walking in on them, but I was still surprised. I always assumed JJ was completely straight, what with all the girls he flirted with, and I never really thought about Ryan's sexuality. All in all though, I was happy for them.

JJ sat at the small counter in his room, tracking Hunter's phone, and the rest of us were all sprawled on the other pieces of furniture. Ryan sat on the counter next to the laptop JJ was typing at, watching his every move.

"I found it!" JJ exclaimed, and we all sat up. He continued speaking.

"He's on a college campus, at a frat house, about 20 minutes away." Holland frowned,  and looked at me. I groaned.

"He probably found a frat party. I bet he's passed out in his own vomit by now. Let's go get his stupid ass." We all got up and left the motel. 3 rent cars sat in the parking lot. I climbed into one with Holland and Keenan, not wanting to deal with Zamon, who had a car all to himself. Orion drove the 3rd car, with JJ and Ryan.

We drove until we reached where all the frat houses were. Driving through the college made me sad. This is what I wanted to do after I finished high school. Go to college and study psychology and English literature, maybe even theatre. But that all went down the drain. I sighed quietly, causing Holland to glance over her shoulder at me.

The car rolled to a stop in front of a huge house. It had the cliche symbols above the door. I didn't bother looking at it too much, considering how this is what I wanted but would probably never get. All seven of us walked up to the door, where Zamon knocked. After a minute, the door swung open to reveal a girl, who looked barely old enough to be a senior in high school, let alone attending College. She was short, hardly 5 foot tall, and a bit chubby. She was cute.

"Can I help you?" Her voice portrayed her actual age.

"Um, we're looking for a boy-" She cut me off  and stepped back against the wall with the door open, motioning us inside with her hand. We entered the house, and it was quite clear why she didn't bother letting us describe Hunter. There were so many people still here. Some were dead asleep, others were awake, but clearly hungover.

We walked room to room on the first level, but didn't find him. JJ pulled out his phone, then led the way upstairs. I frowned. We passed multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, until we reached the last door in the hallway. zamon pushed the door open, and we all stepped inside.

The room was basic, but the sight was anything but. Hunter lay passed out on the queen sized bed, and curled in his arms was an equally naked blond girl. My stomach dropped. I was well aware of everyone else staring at me, but I couldn't take my eyes off my supposed boyfriend.

The tears quickly came, but I refused to cry. Not yet anyway. As quick as the tears came, so did the anger. I stormed forward, ripped the blanket off the two, then yanked Hunter's naked form out of the bed. That definitely woke him up.
