I swung my backpack into my locker, and positioned my mirror in the back, as it had tipped over sideways about to fall.

I unbuckled and unzipped my backpack and took out my Algebra notebook, and Global Studies notebook. I placed them in the nook of my arm, fixing their positions when I heard a detrimenting laugh and multiple footsteps coming from my left, causing me to slow my gathering of supplies. But careful not to stop completely, in fear of them taking notice of me.

Their group got closer, as I saw a peek of a green jacket, and skinny jeans, followed by dark black/brown hair and bright blue eyes. Also light and dark brown quiffs of hair, and light and dark brown eyes out of my side vision.

That's when I felt eyes cascading over my body. I completely stopped gathering my pencils for a moment and squeezed my eyes shut. They noticed me. Shit.

I slowly started preparing my materials again, but not before a fist was slammed into the locker next to me. I looked over to the figure, preparing my intense glare, and there he was, the biggest Douche in school.

Nash.

He was a 10th grader, and for some reason liked to petrify me and try to scare and hurt me, I got to escape him last year, but now I will have to be in school with him until he graduates, in 3 years. Maybe 4 if he gets pushed back a grade, and into my... grade. I don't even want to think of that.

And since his last name is Grier and mine is Greyir, and they seem "alike," everyone think he would be "perfect" for eachother. NOT IN A MILLION YEARS. I am in love with Aspen Adairs, and Nash is a Douche, end of that conversation.

"Hello Sandra." He said mockingly, leaning up against the locker next to me. His blue eyes boiling with desire. I never once took the glare off of my face, my dark blue eyes blaring into his. Which he seemed to love.

"Bye Nash." I said, turning and rearranging around in my locker again.

"Oooh, Fiesty." Nash said. His friend Matt doing a little tiger claw and making a roar bite with his mouth, behind Nash. Hayes, just smirked at me, looking me up and down, them standing still biting his lip. Cam just stood there looking sorry for me like he usually does, he was always the sweet one. But still, he even had his old back-up squad still, wow.

Nash smirked at his reassuring friends.

Then looked back to me, smiling for a few seconds, thinking he was gaining control, as I looked away shuffling in my bag. He got an irritated look on his face, then grabbed my face in his large, strong hand turning my head forcefully towards him. "Why so ignorant Greyir?" He sneered.

I smacked his hand away, and returned to my bag, "Don't. Touch. Me." I managed out through clenched teeth.

Nash was about to fire something back, when Aspen appears around the corner. His focus on me, then seeing the worry in my dark blue eyes, and that's when he noticed Nash and his group there. He soon started into a run, pushing Nash hard away from me, yelling,"Get away from her!!" Defensively. Causing Nash to stumble back a bit.

Nash just "innocently" put his hands up in the air, and backed away slowly. Then when Aspen turned around to me a smirked formed on Nash's face as he mouthed,"see you later Greyir," then winked as he returned to his posey, and disappeared around the corner behind me. My face grew pale, as I looked to Aspen reassuring face, bringing back some color to my cheeks instantly.

"Are you okay?" Aspen asks me.

"Not really," I said biting my lip and shaking my head looking down. "I don't know if I can handle any more of him." I said now, looking into Aspens worried eyes.

"I'll protect you, I'll take care of him." Aspen said, pulling me into a reassuring hug, as he pet my hair, I just closed my eyes. I tried to not let the tears swell up in my eyes, remembering all he has done to me, and what he will try to do to me. He never breaks a promise.

"You can trust me," Aspen said,"I got you, and I will never let anyone hurt you." He continued to pet my hair, stroking softly, making me feel protected and secure in his loving arms, as he rocked me back and forth.

*****

I walked into my first class, Algebra. I clung my binder and all the extra materials close to my chest, as I looked at the seat chart and found out that I sat in, Hayes.... quadrant. Great. Just great. Oh and look! Right next to him too!! How great. *sarcasm* Atleast I have Aspen in this class so he can protect me if anything happens. Too bad he had to leave my locker early to go to class though to talk to the teacher, Mr. Bouche, about making up missing work. On the second day of school, wow, low school, just low.

I stumbly walked over to my seat next to Hayes, as he continuously eyed me, hiding a mischievous smile. Once I sat down, I placed my things on my desk and took out the book that I was reading "The Fault In Our Stars." Me and Aspen were reading it at the same time to compare it, I smiled to myself once I started reading. But soon became self conscious when I realized Hayes was still staring at me, but in a place that I think most guys think are a girls eyes or something, cause it seems like that is all they look at.

I tried to ignore him and keep reading, but not before pulling my shirt up. I did love this book though. John Green is so sweet, funny, but treacherous in his writing. I love it. Then Hayes looked up to eyes, I relaxed for a bit, but he didn't look away.

I felt something tingle on my head and became suspicious, I looked over to the left where Hayes was sitting, as to that is where I felt it. He was twirling a golden strand of my hair around his finger. I looked at him like, "are you really doing that?" da fuq.

I took a hand off of my book, and used it to slap Hayes's away. "Don't do that!!" I yelled at him, and returned to reading.

"Well, how are you Sandra?" He asked like it was normal. What is up with this boy, and his games?

I didn't even reply. And as the bell rang to start class, I tried to tune out his stares, and took into interest Aspen's constant glances on me to check if I'm okay, from across the room. Also his glares to Hayes for staring at me, that Aspen delivered, were quite comforting. I smiled every time I felt Aspen do either one of those, but became worried whenever Hayes lingering eyes fell on me, as he licked his plump lips.

But I froze as I felt Aspen's glare burn into Hayes wondering eyes. Hayes turning around and mouthing something to Aspen, his glare deepening. I got frightened, as I stayed in place, a cold sweat starting to form on my skin.

And that's when Hayes once again licked his lips tentatively, looking over to me, I slowly turned my head to him, his smirk growing as he saw my fear. His bright blue eyes swimming with evil, and lust-full defenses. When I felt a warm hand placed upon my knee.
