Summer With the Grier's (Hayes Grier)

Chapter 3

*HAYES'S P.O.V*

I was so excited to be spending my summer in Vancouver.  I had never been there before and it sounded really interesting.  Although I wasn't to excited to be staying with another family in their house.  I wanted to just spend the summer with my family.

When we arrived at the family's house they greeted us, took our bags, and showed us our rooms.  Their were two guest bedrooms, one for my parents, and one for me Nash ans Sky. 

My mom became almost instant friends with Ashley, the lady who's house we were staying in.  My mom wanted to buy some groceries with Ashley, but Ashley had to pick up her oldest daughter Ali from school.  She is 13 and already in high school.  It seems weird to me because she should be in middle school, but they don't have that here. 

"I will pick her up from school.  I don't mind."  Nash said.

"Oh that would be great thank you," Ashley said.

"Hayes you can go with your brother," my mom said. 

I really didn't feel like going, but I agreed with my mom.  

We arrived at Ali's school a little bit early so me and Nash just hung out by her locker.  The bell rang and the hallways filled up with people.  I was surprised that knowone had noticed me or Nash yet.  Then I saw this girl start walking towards us.  She was beautiful.  No she was beyond beautiful.

She looked about my age.  She had long, silky blonde hair.  Sparkling blue green eyes and she was a shorter than most of her friends she was walking with, but still tall.  

A few of her friends started getting really excited when they saw me and Nash, but she looked really calm. 

"Hi I'm Ali.  You guys are staying at my house right?" Ali said.

"Yeah we are. I'm Nash and this is Hayes.  Your mom went out grocery shopping with my mom so I offered to pick you up," Nash said.

I think she saw that I was starring at her because Nash nudged me out of the way of her locker so she could get to it.

*ALI'S P.O.V*

As I was walking to my locker I saw Hayes and Nash standing their.  My heart was fluttering and I could feel a zoo in my stomach.  Hayes was even cuter in person.  He just stood there smiling at me which was even cuter. 

"Hi I'm Ali.  You guys are staying at my house right?" I said.

"Yeah we are. I'm Nash and this is Hayes.  Your mom went out grocery shopping with my mom so I offered to pick you up," Nash said.

I needed to get into my locker, but Hayes just stood their smiling like he was in his own world.  It was kinda funny.  Nash nudged him out of the way and I got all of my books out of my locker because it was the last day of school.  

Cassidy ran up to me not noticing Nash and Hayes standing right next to me.

"So what's my surprise." Cassidy asked me.

I turned her around and her jaw dropped.  " Cassidy meet Nash and Hayes.  They are staying with me all summer, " I said.

She just stood there in shock.  " Hi Cassidy it's nice to meet you. I'm Nash," Nash said and he went up and hugged her.  

"Cassidy is going to be sleeping over so do you mind if we give her a ridde to?" I asked Nash.

He agreed and we all piled into his car.  Cassidy sat up front next to Nash and Hayes sat in the back seat next to me.  He kept looking over at me the whole car ride back to my house.
