Summer With the Grier's (Hayes Grier)

Chapter 16

I walked towards my front door ready to go meet Hayes. I looked in the mirror one last time before going out. My hair was in light curls down my back with a white bow tying the front sides of my hair to the back. I was wearing a black dress that went just above my knees with white daisys on the dress. I had paired it with black lace up wedge heels. I walked out my door to see Nash standing in front of a black car I'm guessing was his moms.

"Come with me ma' lady." Nash said in an attempted British accent a he opened the car door for me. "Why thank you Mr.Grier." I said back to him in a British accent. I got in the car and Nash jumped in on the other side. "So where am I taking you. Hayes said you would tell me." " Take me to Quarry rock please." I said with a huge smile on my face.

He drove me to the location and I walked up. I wasn't thinking that I would need to hike up the hill in heels. I soon arrived at the top and Hayes was waiting there for me in a suit. He looked really good in a suit. "Come with me beautiful." Hayes said and grabbed my hand pulling me towards our destination. We walked through the trees and my eyes lit up.

There were white Christmas lights hanging from tree to tree, a lot of blankets and pillows laid on the ground making a little bed, a picnic basket which I'm guessing had food in it and a laptop with a pile of movies next to it. "Hayes did you do all of this?" I asked as I admired the whole place. It looked beautiful. "Yes and I did it all for you because I-I love you." "I turned around so I was face to face with Hayes. "I love you too." I said and then we leaned in and kissed. The fireworks went off again just like the first time, but only better.

We sat down on the blankets and enjoyed our dinner under the twinkling lights of the night sky. We were jut finishing up our dinner when Hayes asked if I wanted to watch a movie. I agreed and we picked out Finding Nemo. We lauds down on the bed of pillows and watched the movie in the starlight. It was perfect. Everything was perfect.

I was getting pretty tired by half way through the movie and I slowly drifted off to sleep.

•Hayes' P.O.V•

We were watching the movie and everything had gone just as I had planned. I had my arm wrapped her and she was snuggled up close to my side. The movie ended and I looked over to Ali and she was fast asleep. She looked cute while she was sleeping. I looked at my phone to see what time it was. It was already 11:00. I quickly called Nash. "Hey Nash can you come pick me and Ali up. She is fast asleep right now. " I asked nicely. "Sure thing I will be right there. " Nash said and then hung up.

Soon after Nash showed up with Cam as well. I carried Ali down to their car while Nash and Cam packed everything up. He really was a good big brother. I set Ali down in the back seat with me and she rested her head on my shoulder. Nash and Cam got into the car and we started driving off. "So you really like her don't you?" Cam asked me. "Ya. I do. " I said with a smile on my face. "Good. Because she really likes you, but be good to her because if you break her heart I will break you. " Cam said. He sounded serious but jokingly at the same time. I will. I won't ever break her heart. She is mine and I am hers.

Sorry this chapter is a little shorter but I felt like I needed to get something out to all of you because I haven't updated in a long time. I feel bad. But I have had a hard time coming up with ideas. If you all could comment and give me some ideas that would be very helpful. And I might even give you a shoutout!
