*HAYES' P.O.V*
I didn't realize that I had hurt her so bad. I mean Lexi seems like a great girl, I just can't see that she bullies my girl. Lexi was so nice to her today and me. Wait Lexi likes me!!! That's why she was so nice, she was trying to take me away from Ali.
I kept running after her. I needed to fix everything. Ali stopped and turned back to me and yelled "LEAVE ME ALONE HAYES. I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU!!!"
I stopped and let her go. A tear rolled down my cheek as I was heading back to everyone for some help.
"Where have you been!!!? We have been looking for you and Ali for an hour now. We heard yelling and then you were both gone!!!! Wait where is Ali?" Nash said. "What did you do Hayes!!!" Nash was now yelling at me.
"I don't know, but we need to find her. She could be anywhere now." I said
"I know where she is." Cassidy said in a hushed voice.
We all walked out of the shop and followed Cassidy to the bottom of this trail. "She alwasy goes up to the top when she is sad." Cassidy explained.
We hiked up the rock all the way to the top. "Ok y'all stay here. I think it would be better if just I went up." Cassidy suggested.
"I'm coming with you." Cameron said and with that they walked off.
I wanted to go as well, but I knew she didn't want to see me. I knew that it would make everything worse.
*ALI'S P.O.V*
I ran away from Hayes as fast as I could, but I knew he would eventually catch up to me. I turned around to see that he was getting closer. "LEAVE ME ALONE HAYES. I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU!" I screamed at him. Tears flooded my eyes, but I kept running.
I couldn't hear footsteps behind me anymore so I figured Hayes had stopped running after me.
I continued running up until I reached the top of a trail called Quarry rock. I always came up here whenever I would feel sad or needed to think things over. The view of the ocean helped calm me down.
Quarry rock was pretty busy most days so it was hard to find peace and quiet up there. I found this hidden sopt behind a bush when I was little. No one ever goes up to that part because it is too close to the edge and very well hidden.
I sat down on the rock and let the tears flow. Lexi had made it her life goal to ruin mine. Whenever she could she would find a way to make me miserable. I didn't have many friends because of Lexi, but I had a few.
Cassidy has helped me through everything and stuck by my side since kindergarten, even with Lexi spreading rumours about me.
Just as I thought my life couldn't get any better, I mean I met all of my Idols and my one love was staying at my house for the summer, Lexi finds yet another way to ruin me.
My sadness turned into anger. I had let Lexi push me around all of my life, but I was not going to let her take this from me.
After a while of just relaxing and thinking about the everything I heard footsteps behind me. Then I heard voices. I think one of them was Cassidy. I'm glad she came to find me because I really needed a friend right now.
I turned around to see Cassidy and Cameron pop out of the bush and head towards me.
I was also relived that Cameron was here because he was the only other one that knew about Lexi besides Cass. I know that I have only known Cameron for a day, but I feel like I can tell him anything. He is like the big brother I never had.
"Hey is everything ok? Hayes came back out of breath and was crying. He seemed really worried about you." Cameron asked me.
I told them everything that happened between me and Lexi and me and Hayes.
"Good thing we told Lexi not to come. She seemed really worried about Hayes and was trying to comfort him but he kept ignoring her. He really likes you Ali. That's all he could talk about at the beach today." Cameron said with a sympathetic smile on his face.
I smiled through my tears. "Is he here. I really need to talk to him?" I asked
Cameron stood up and walked off to go get Hayes. "How are you holding up about Lexi?" Cassidy asked.
"Could be better"
Cameron approached us with a sad looking Hayes. "I think I should leave you two alone." Cassidy said and grabbed Cameron's arm to follow.
"Listen I'm really sorry about not paying attention to you tonight. I didn't know that Lexi bullied you she just seemed so nice, but I should have listened to you the first time. I had no clue that Lexi liked me because the whole time I was talking to her, I was thinking about you." Hayes explained
"So is it true what Cameron said. That you really like me."
"Yes. I really like you Ali. I have never met someone like you before."
I smiled and gave Hayes the biggest hug. We pulled apart and I could't stop staring at those amazing blue eyes of his.
He leaned in and slowly our lips met. I could feel fireworks going off in every direction. We pulled apart and I blushed.
"So you forgive me?"
I just leaned in and kissed him again. Of course I forgave him. How could you not?
"By the way I wanted to ask you something?"
I know I know. But I love Cliffhangers. I really hoped you guys enjoyed that chapter.
I will be posting again tomorrow I promise you. Comment if you have any ideas for the story.
Thanks
