Chapter 13
Adria was almost jumping as she awaited the train pull in at the station. Like most families there to collect their children, they had gotten to the station far to early - Adria's fault - to make sure that they weren't possibly late in the slightest, and whilst Sirius knew that was impossible with Adria's excitement, he figured it was best if he just let the girl do what she pleased seeing as she was more than excited to see her baby sister who she had missed terribly.
Sirius only wondered if it were possible for Adria not to tell any of the girls that Benji and Arden were home.
Jude was in the stroller that the two teenagers had bought, though he barely used it much unless they really needed him to stay still, like now. Adria was terrified of him wandering too close to the edge of the platform and urged Sirius to bring the stroller along because of her fear of him going out of her sight, but to say that Jude wasn't happy about being in the stroller was a terrible understatement. Currently, he wasn't even talking to the two, instead his bottom lip was pushed out in a pout and his arms crossed over his chest for being so restricted.
"Adria, you need to calm down," Sirius laughed softly. He pulled on the dress she wore, slipping his arm around her waist whilst she silently nodded her head, though her excitement didn't at all go away. She just knew that Sirius was on edge with her excitement, always keeping a close eye on her because of the baby, he was terrified in case anything happened to her or their child that she knew he was only keeping a closer eye on her because he loved her.
"Fine, fine, it's just weird, isn't it?" she spoke, rubbing her hands together in the cold air, she was wondering when the train would get in and how long it would be until she could see the girls she had been missing for far too long, "being on this end of the waiting. I miss the train actually, I wish I could get on it and hop back off to Hogwarts in hopes of not worrying about any responsibilities but I don't think life works that way."
"Not really, unfortunately," Sirius scoffed, "though I wouldn't mind going back to Hogsmeade for one of those dates. What was it? go crazy in Honeydukes, drink some butterbeer then snog in a booth at the three broomsticks?"
"Well the butterbeer is at the three broomsticks too...and don't say snog it's such a horrible word," the girl groaned, shaking her head whilst Sirius laughed loudly, proceeding to repeat the word multiple times until she groaned, whacking his chest.
"Jude, you alright, baby?" asked Adria, peeking her head round to look at him, "you're awfully quiet."
He turned the other way from her, his eyes narrowed now and his bottom lip pushed out even more whilst Adria tried her best not to show the amused smile on her lips. She rounded the stroller until she was in front of him, crouched down at eye view so he could see her properly, "so I take it you don't like the pram, huh Jude?"
"It's unfair!" he whined, his arms flailing around him and his eyes wide with anger, "why do you get to walk around, why- why does Pad?!" he screeched, causing a few others to look over at him, and Sirius made sure he was well hidden from his family at the other side of the platform waiting for Regulus, though it wasn't like they would ever pay attention to him anyway.
"Well we are taller so we can see more," Adria shrugged, ruffling his hair whilst he protested, "and we need you to stay here now because a big train is going to come and if you go near it you might hurt yourself, and we don't want that!"
"But I won't go near it," he cried, trying to move so that Adria wouldn't wipe his tears but failing.
"Well you say that, but what if you accidentally go near it and I can't save you?!" Adria exclaimed, "and you only have to stay here a little longer and then we can go get ice cream with Pad and Alina and Lia!"
