Okay so Alec is basically going to be Hayden in this scene because I want him to be. So other than that nothing really major changes.**

When Alec was just six years old, after spending an hour trying to convince his mother to take him to the park, he'd stomped up to his bedroom and fallen asleep. He hadn't realized his mother had fallen asleep with a cigarette carelessly wedged between two fingers.

The house had gone up in flames, and his mother seemed to forget he was in the house because she left without him. He had jolted awake when she slammed the front door shut, slipping out of bed and stumbling down the stairs to the living room. He cried out when he saw the ceiling and walls engulfed in flames. He tried to rulungt the front door, but tripped over a bottle of wine that was sitting on the floor and tumbled to the floor. A snapping sound was heard as his leg made impact with the hard floor. Tears streamed down his face as he struggled to sit up.

"Mommy?" he shouted, trying to crawl across the floor but his sore leg dragged behind him slowing him down and making things harder. "Mommy, please help me."

The fire crackled and sizzled along the walls. Smoke filled Alec's lungs causing him to cough harshly and leave a raw feeling in his throat. Creaking came from above the ceiling. Alec tilted his head up just in time to see a support beam to falling towards him, fire covering the entirety of it.

The fire Sodom caught onto the boys shirt. The fabric burned into the skin along his back. The young boy screamed in agony, begging and pleading for someone to help him. The inferno raged around him, and the burning sanitation continued crawling along his body.

The front door burst open, five men in firefighter gear shoving through the doorway. The boy cried out in relief. The men all rushed over to him, removing the support beam and dousing the fire.

"You're going to be okay son. You're going to alright," one of them called out, gripping the boy closed to host body. "I'm gonna take the kid out to ambulance. He's been burned. He needs to go to the hospital."

Alec was carried out of the room and placed gently onto a waiting gurney. He could hear his mother screaming hysterically but he felt no pity for her. She left him alone to die in a blaze of flames. She hadn't cared what would've happened to him. Alec coughed, the lingering taste of smoke still on his tongue. A oxygen mask was shoved over his face and he was loaded up into the ambulance. The last thing he saw was a paramedic hovering over him and rhe screeching sound of sirens filling his ears.

Alec jerked out of his slumber. Sweat poured down his back and forehead. His breathing was coming out in short, rapid huffs. His eyes searched wildly around the room to make sure their was no danger. He relaxed when her didn't smell any sense of smoke or hear and crackling of a fire. He laid back down and shuffled till he was comfortable. He tried desperately to fall back asleep but to no avail. Alec spent the majority of the night tossing and turning, plagued by the tragedy that happened to him a long time ago. Eventually he released a shaky breath through his lips and slid out of his bed, stumbling over to his bathroom.
