"Scott, you have to give him the bite. If he's a real wolf, it'll save him. Otherwise he's not going to make it," Liam begged his Alpha.
"Liam, he's to weak. The bite may kill him."
"But-"
"Liam," Alec intervened, squeezing Liam's hand and making t...

Alec had fallen asleep at some point, head cushioned on Liam's lap while his hand ran through Alec's hair. Liam had gotten into a little spat with Scott when he noticed a duffle bag and forced Scott to reveal to him what when inside. It was then that the truth behind this whole plan was uncovered. That Alec was simply bait in the eyes of the pack in order to try and catch a Dread Doctor. He hadn't appreciated that, and he doubt Alec would be also. He was glad when Scott left in the hopes to clear his head, Lydia leaving shortly after to patrol the hallways.
His eyes stayed on Alec, fingers smoothing over the crease in his forehead. Alec's eyes fluttered open and he smiled up at Liam.
"When can we leave? I want a good nights sleep that doesn't involve sleeping on the hard floor of the boys locker room knowing a bunch of crazy scientists are after me," he mumbled through a yawn, stretching until his back popped. He sat up and scouted over so his back rested agsisnt the locker, his head laying on Liam's floortder.
"I don't know," Liam replied with a soft sigh in his voice. "Scott might not want you to leave. If they don't come tonight, they'll come some other night. They won't stop hunting you down."
"That's why I have you. To protect me. Isn't that what your good at, ya Big Bad Wolf?"
"Of course, my Darling Little Red."
Alec chuckled and curled further into Liam's side.
"I don't think Red Riding Hood was a genetically modified chimera." Alec sighed, interlocking his hand with Liam's. "Are we going to talk about what happened at Sinema. Ya know, before the whole me passing out thing?"
Liam turned his head to look at him, a faint scarlet blush covering his checks. "What do you mean? What's to talk about?"
Alec snorted and raised a brow at Liam. The other boy smiled innocently and sqeezed the slender fingers linked with his. Alec kept staring at him, awaiting an explanation of past events. While he was still a little annoyed that Liam wouldn't agree to his earlier plea, he didn't want to spend the last few hours arguing with the boy. That couldn't be the last thing he did with him.
"So," Alec began, "was it you who didn't like me dancing with those guys or was it really you?"
Liam's face scrunched up in confusion. He didn't really know how to explain this. The wolf was a part of him. It fed off his emotions. When he saw Alec dancing with those men, something just snapped and his wolf had encouraged him to grab Alec and get him as far away from those men and show him just who he belonged to. He was pretty sure Scott or someone had given him a word that related to that feeling but he couldn't recall what it was named. He tried his best to explain the feelings to Alec. Alec seemed to understand and actually stated that for a while, the same feeling ahead stirred inside his own body, but he didn't quite understand what it was. At the same time, the dreams with Dread Doctors had started and he assumed that the lack of sleep was throwing his entire world off.
