Chapter 34

We continue our way down the hall, everyone at least five feet apart to try to avoid another dreaded swap. Though we could've tried to actually get back into our own bodies, we all were too big of dumbasses to think of that idea and I also needed something to give a sense of urgency so we could get to Saika and wrap up this hot mess of a fic.
"So what's the plan again?" Rock asks from Nico's body.
Nico turns to his friend. "Most guards have to carry around a first aid kit that contain some form of rubbing alcohol which is just what we need to switch back."
"So you're saying that once we get to Saika, we just need her first aid kit and we're cured?" Rock asks.
Nico nods.
"Well it looks like we've made it guys." CJ announces, pointing at the large door with an elegant 3 looped across it.
"I got it." I step forward and reach into my hat to pull out the key card.
But instead of finding thin plastic, a familiar rubber sphere touches my hand instead. I pull out my ball and hold it up to Uno's/Rock's face.
"Why the hell have you not returned this yet?"
Uno shrugs. "There wasn't a proper moment in the plot."
I sigh and toss the ball to Kitty who's still in my body. "Put that in my pocket. The key card should still be in my hat."
She nods (do you know how fucking weird it is to watch yourself nod back at you and just-oh never mind) and grabs the card to open the door. The scanner gives a soft beep! before swinging open to hit us all with the strong scent of perfume.
"Jesus fucking Christ." I cough, waving a hand in front of my/Uno's face.
Kitty sneezes. "Yup. That's definitely Building 3."
CJ straightens Jyugo's shackles and steps forward. "Well guys," she says, "you ready to finally get to Saika?"
