Kitty reaches forward to grasp my hand but before our fingers can touch, a book stops her.
"Better not swap us all again." CJ says, pulling the book that was definitely not in her hands a chapter ago from between us.
"Good point." I stuff my hands back into Uno's pockets. "By the way, where'd you even get that book?"
CJ stares at me. "What book?"
"The one in your-" I notice the book has mysteriously vanished. "-oh never mind."
"Everything okay back there?" Rock asks.
CJ and I flash him a thumbs up and she, Kitty, and I jog back over to join them.
"Can you believe this fic is almost over?" Uno stretches Rock's arms over his head. "And still no one's banged."
"It's not that kind of fucking fic." I mutter.
"Well, I think it should be a fucking fic."
"I am about five seconds away from saying screw Nico's body swapping sickness and slapping you across your skull." I raise one of Uno's hands in warning.
Uno smirks and winks. "Kinky."
I begin to throw Uno's arm forward, prepared to connect with his/Rock's face.
"GUYS!" CJ shouts, stopping my/Uno's hand. "We're here."
