crap, i was late to pick up lilly. currently i was driving as fast as i could to get lilly. we are heading to new york today, lilly is dragging me to meet her favorite band, why don't we.
i only heard about them from her and i knew she loved them. she is obsessed with one of the boys, derek, david, something like that. well anyways i wanted to be a good friend and give her a chance to meet him so i bought her and i tickets for her birthday.
i finally reached her drive way as i slammed the breaks. "oh my gosh lilly. i'm so sorry i'm late. traffic is horrible." i said as she got in the car.
"it's okay! this road trip is gonna be so fun." she said with electricity. as i said, she's obsessed.
"okay good." i said as i pulled out of her driveway.
lilly and i live right outside of heartland, connecticut and it is a 2 and a half hour drive into the big apple. we're going to spend 2 nights in a hotel to go shopping and stuff.
"oh. my. god. i'm meeting my boys tomorrow!! ahh!!" lilly screamed as she turned up the radio. and yes, of course she was playing why don't we.
i didn't mind, i just laughed and shook my head as she sang every word to every song while dancing along.
"girl you are so crazy!" i said laughing so hard as she hit her head on the dash board jamming out.
once we reached new york we went to our hotel to change. currently we were in sweatpants and sweatshirts considering we were in a car for like 100 hours.
we both put on make up as i throw on this:

lilly headed downstairs to get a cab as i was doing some finishing touches and was late as always.
i ran out of the elevator, through the lobby as i hit someone and fell. they gave me a hand and i looked up to see a dreamy boy with rosie cheeks and brown eyes you could get lost in. we just stared at each other in silence as i began to feel my cheeks go red.
"oh hey there. sorry for running into you like that. i should watch where i'm going." he said with an embarrassed laugh finally braking the quietness.
"it's okay. i'm late to meet my friend. i can take parcel blame." i said with a smile.
"no no. it's my fault. my names zach by the way." he said with a smile.
"hi zach, i'm natalie and i'll be late if i don't get going."
"can i get your num-" he started but with that i was off to find lilly.
i finally found her standing next to a cab. "what on earth took you so long?" she said with a questioned look.
"oh.. um.. nothing" i said wondering if i would ever see that boy again.
we finally got to the restaurant as lilly nudged me. i looked up from the menu to see a gorgeous boy with blond hair and blue eyes sitting at a table a crossed from us, but all i could think about was the boy i ran into at the hotel.
"he's.. um cute." i said.
"cute? he's absolutely adorable. totally your type." she said trying to hype me up.
"um.. yeah. i guess." i said twirling my hair.
"you guess? what's up with you?" she knew me too well. whenever i twirled my hair i was hiding something.
"well.. um.. i ran into this boy." i said already regretting it.
"a boy? oo tell me everything." and with that i spilled everything. how he was so dreamy and hot, how he was staring at me, and almost asked for my number.
