chapter thirteen

may 14th
~natalie's pov.~

   i wake up to see corbyn and jonah still sleeping while jack and daniel are playing 2K17 on the x-box.

   i look around and i don't see zach.

   "where's zach?" i asked.

   "um i don't know." jack says focusing in on their game.

   i look to see daniel is winning 45-38 with 7:38 left in the 1st.

   "yes!" jack shouts making a 3 pointer.

   "bro i'm still winning." daniel says grinning.

   i laugh at the two of them. i'm so glad their my bestfriends.

   "yay!" i yell as daniel scores.

   "um dude?" jack says turning around as daniel then gets the ball and scores again.

   "let's go!" daniel shouts.

   "ah nat what the heck!" jack grunts.

   "i didn't do anything." i say putting my hands up.

   "you distracted me!" jack says acting mad.

   "she was just helping out the pro." daniel says laughing.

   "that's right." i say grinning.

   "why, why would you do that?" jack says all hurt.

   "because i don't like losers." i say smiling.

   "that hurt." jack says putting a hand over his heart.

   i just laugh and watch the rest of the game.

  it's now one hour later and daniel ended up winning. jack was in the lead till daniel got two 3 points and won.

   "hey babe. do you know what today is?" zach asks walking in the door. he's wearing black khakis with a bright blue button up top and a dark blue tie.

   "well of course. it's my first day out of the house!" i say getting up kissing him.

   "that's right it is. now let me treat my girl to a breakfast. i have a whole day planned." he says smiling.

   "will you take me home so i can get ready?" i ask.

   "of course princess. let's get going." he says leading me to the door.
