Time for another SPIN OFF!

Again, this chapter's gonna take place outside of the plot, yet inside. I always write these type of chapters from a 3.person perspective, because I want to practice it.

Matteo was headed too the kitchen to get some snacks, when he discovers his parents Ale and Kajetan watching many from his famiglia crowding around the kitchen island with a smile on their faces.

Everyone except the boss, and himself.

"Whats going on?" He asks loud, but nobody responds. But Ale and Kajetan noticed him and quickly escapes the room, which only makes his suspicion worse.

He makes his way to the commotion, and peeks over the numerous heads to be able to see.

It's a phone.

"Who's phone is this?" He asks with authority which startles his famiglia so the phone Joaquin held drops to the floor. In record time, everyone lines up and stands straight.

We all know well enough that we're not a military crew, but since Allan joined the famiglia the boss got intrigued how soldiers are trained.

Those months of training are buried deep down in all their memories.

"Oh, it's just you tre(three). I though it was the boss with that threatening voice" Joaquin says as his shoulder relaxes and his posture deflates.

Matteo feels a deep appreciation and pride swelling in his chest.

A better compliment for Matteo doesn't exist. However Kai notices Matteo's slight blush and can't help blushing himself. He can't help the feeling in his chest whenever Matteo's facade breaks.

Kai knows how much attention Matteo gives the boss, and his jealousy makes him want to make Matteo to only see him.

Joaquin eyes switches between Matteo and Kai.

Matteo, as usual, is clueless.

Matteo bends down and picks up the phone, "So, gonna answer my question?" he asks while dangling the phone between his fingers.

A slight panic covers his famiglia's faces, and he notices how Alessio breaks formation and takes a slight step forward. Like he's getting ready for action.

"You should be a little more careful with that phone, tre" Joaquin warns with his eyes bored into the phone. "It belongs to the boss".

"Which?" Matteo asks bored and throws the phone from his palm too the air and back. The famiglia flinches forward everytime the device falls, ready to catch in case he slips the phone.

The boss has numerous of phones. It depending on the numbers of clients in the different states, but minimum three phones for each. That way it's easier for Joaquin to detect any hackers trying to locate the boss, and shut that shit down.
