"We can do this, okay." Brooklyn squeezed my hand.
"I will hit her if she even tries to come after us." Violet said from behind Brooklyn and I.
"No you won't, we just have to be kind and civil, it might not be easy, but we will try." I exhaled heavily.
The three of us were currently standing outside the penthouse Lili was in. Sweating bullets as we were prepping ourselves for world war three with Lili.
"Let's go, it will be okay." Brooklyn let go of my hand and knocked on the door knob. I nodded and waited patiently for Lili to open the door, my stomach in a knot.
After a minute of waiting, and a minute of trying to keep myself from throwing up on my designer dress, the door unlocked and slowly opened. Behind it was a girl who looked freakishly like me, wearing a two piece blue flower crop top and skirt. Her hands were on her hips, a small smirk plastered on her face. "Well well well," She said as she opened up the door and walked away, letting us in. "Look who finally showed up, i've been waiting for you."
"Lili." Brooklyn stepped into the penthouse first. It looked exactly like the penthouse Violet and I were staying in. We followed Brooklyn in and sat down in the seating room.
"Tea please." Lili said to a servant who was standing in the corner of the room. The servant nodded and left the room, following Lili's orders. "Now where do I start?"
"How about we start." Brooklyn piped in.
"Be my guest, you know i've always been a fan of story time." Lili crossed her legs and leaned back in her chair. "Lie to me please, i've had a long plane ride and could use some excitement."
"What we're going to tell you is not a lie." Brooklyn said, a vein popping out of his neck. I could tell he was angry and annoyed with Lili.
"What a bummer, I was hoping for some entertainment." Lili's eyes narrowed on me. "Not some boring story."
"Are you here to listen or insult us?" Brooklyn asked.
"Insult you? My loving boyfriend? I could never!" She smiled.
"We aren't dating anymore!" Brooklyn stood up, towering over Lili who was sitting down.
"But the public doesn't know that, and they certainly don't think it after seeing you with my look alike, what's your name again?" Lili turned to me.
"Elena." I said quietly.
"Oh like the girl from that vampire show?" Lili asked. "Bite me."
"Your tea, Miss Fulton." Lili's servant handed her a teacup with a saucer under it. Lili took it gently, took a tiny sip, then set it down on the table in front of her. "Thank you, you are dismissed."
"Do you want to hear the story or not?" Brooklyn asked. He was now seated again, and a little less angry.
"Well obviously, Brooklyn." Lili laughed on her own for a second. "Do you actually think I would invite you and two strangers into my penthouse to watch me drink tea?"
"I think you're unpredictable and an awful person." Brooklyn responded.
"Enough with the arguing, I don't want to be here until i'm thirty." I said, after I started explaining the story with Brooklyn.
