"As I promised you, here are two plane tickets, one in your name, one in Violet's." Brooklyn handed me two tickets.

"I can't thank you enough." I said as I hugged Brooklyn. "You've been so nice to me, even when I haven't been the nicest to you. And you and your family have been so welcoming to us."

"You and Violet have been very entertaining." Brooklyn smiled. "And nice, I can't imagine how boring this vacation would have been without you guys."

"I feel bad leaving after this." I frowned.

"Don't." Brooklyn smiled. "You've had to go through so much on this trip, being home will give you a chance to get your life back on track."

"True." I smiled.

"But if you really want to make me happy before you leave, you're going to have to at least dance with me once." Brooklyn stuck his hand out for me to grab. I grabbed it and smiled.

"This is it, I have to swallow my pride and admit to mom and dad that I don't like it in Rome, and then I guess i'll get to move back home." Violet said as we waited in line to board the plane.

"It won't be so bad." I smiled at her. "They already know you don't like it here, they just act like they don't."

"I know." She pouted.

"You chose to come here." I reminded her.

"I know. And now i'm going to have to come here with dad to get all my stuff."

"Your apartments kind of empty."

"You know what, Elena, I am a college kid I don't know what you were expecting, Buckingham Palace?"

"Point proven." I held my hands up in surrender.

"Could this line go any slower?" Violet said as she looked around the tall guy in front of us to see what the backup was. "It's always the old people, always." She sighed.

"Elena, Elena!" Someone shouted from behind me.

"Brooklyn?" I asked as I watched him run up to me, his brown hair flopping. "I'm willing to tell you what Lili and I had talked about when she pretended to be you."

"Great, but your timing wasn't as good." I joked as I looked at the line moving. I was minutes away from getting on my plane home, and Brooklyn deciding now was the time to tell me after I had only asked him a million times?

"Here." He handed me an envelope. "But you have to promise me you are not going to open it until you get home."

I looked down at the envelope then back up at Brooklyn. "I promise."

He leaned in and hugged me one more time. "See you soon?" He asked before walking away.

"See you soon."
