"Miss Fulton, thank you so much for doing this interview, we are so happy to have you." The interviewer said as he shook Lili's hand. I was standing off to the side with Elia, watching Lili as she sat down with the interviewer, ready to answer questions.
"I am so happy to be here!" Lili smiled at the camera.
"Now we have to ask you the question everyone has been wondering ever since these pictures came out of you and a girl that looks very similar to you," The interviewer pulled out a few pictures taken the other night of Lili and I. "Who is this girl that looks like you?"
"That's my twin sister, her name is Elena." Lili smiled. "And she is the best sister, the one I have always dreamed of." She looked over at me and smiled.
"How sweet! Did you just find out you had a twin sister?"
"Yes." Lili smiled. "I wish I had the time to explain the whole life story, but let's just say we were separated for so long, but we are so happy to be back together now."
"That sounds like a miracle!" The interviewer grinned.
"I would like to make this statement about my sister official here." Lili spoke up. My heart started to race, I had no idea what Lili was about to say. "My sister Elena is actually the girlfriend of Brooklyn, I was just covering for her, she wasn't ready for the limelight yet."
Elia and I both gasped right after Lili said that. She maintained the same grin that was on her face, and if I didn't know that she was lying, I would have believed her too.
"But I ask that you all support my sister and Brooklyn, because they are very happy with each other, and in my opinion, they are a very cute couple!" Lili kept talking.
"I can't believe what i'm hearing!" The reporter looked shocked. "But yes, they are a very cute couple."
"Oh thank you!" Lili put her hand on her heart. "I'll make sure to tell them that you said that, i'm sure they will be very thankful."
"You really are a pleasure to be around, and i'm sure you are also a great sister!" The interview showered her with compliments.
"Oh you are too sweet, thank you!" Lili responded. "Thank you for having me."
"My pleasure." The interviewer smiled as the cameraman told them the camera was done recording, then the two of them got up and hugged, thanking each other again.
"What was that?" I asked Lili as we were walking out of the building.
"You shouldn't have, Lili." Elia said sternly.
"But I can tell that you two like each other, I was just pushing it along!" Lili defended herself.
"But we don't like each other, and I have to go back to New Mexico!" I argued, a little upset.
"But what if you don't?" Lili asked me as we walked down the street, cameras flashing around us.
"Make sure to keep your voices down, their are cameras around!" Elia reminded us sternly.
"I can't come live in England with you if that is what you're implying, I still have a family back in New Mexico!"
"But we are your real family, Elena." Lili grabbed my hand. "We're twins, are you really going to give that up for a family that you don't even share blood with?"
