[Edryn's pov | The Hokage's office]
"I ain't livin' with this dumbass." Edryn gestured to Kakashi. "Well who do you want to live with then?" The Hokage asked. "Someone who ain't a dolt." I requested. "The Nara's, maybe?" Kakashi shrugged. "They'd get too lazy to feed her. Or they'd lock her in a room." The Hokage sighed. "I'd kick my way out and strangle th' lot of 'em." I hissed. Who do these people think they are?! Lockin' me in a room? They're talkin' like I'm some dog they've gotta take turns takin' care of.
"How about Tsume? She's quite... scary." Kakashi said. "I like 'er already." I said. I was ignored. "No, imagine what might happen if they were to fight..." The Hokage trailed off, shivering. "Let me stay with th' potato. At least he wouldn't try and talk to me." I said. Ibiki jumped, narrowing his eyes at me. "No." He said instantly. "He doesn't want to." Kakashi told me. "Nobody wants to!" I threw my hands up. "We could place her with a civilian foster family." Kakashi tried. "And what do you suppose they'd do? She's a dwarf!" The Hokage exclaimed. "No shit." I mumbled.
"Put her with Inoichi. He can handle it." Ibiki grunted. "I hate his name." I said. "I don't care." Ibiki shot back. I kicked him in the shin. He let out a hiss. "What was that for?" Ibiki asked. "Do I need a reason t' kick your ugly self then?" I asked. He let out a snarl. "...Ibiki, you're taking her." The Hokage ordered. My head snapped towards him, and I grinned. "Yah hear that?! I get t' torment you all the time now!" I clapped. "Hokage-sama, no." Ibiki pleaded. "You're the only one who stands a chance against her. Kakashi is already wrapped around her finger." The Hokage sighed. Kakashi sighed, nodding. The Hokage was right.
"...Fine. But this better be temporary." Ibiki hissed. "Of course, Ibiki. Now, you'll be in charge of getting her clothing, and the things she'll need to enter the academy." The Hokage said. "This brat is entering the academy?" Ibiki scoffed. "Damn straight. I'm gonna become a ninja and kick yer ass." I said, although I'm having no trouble doing that now. Ibiki shot me a nasty glare, to which I stuck out my tongue. "You're a pain." He snapped. "I know." I answered cheekily, grinning. He rolled his eyes at me, turning to talk to the Hokage more.
"I know you'll miss me, but I'll make sure t' come kick ya ever once in a while." I promised. "Er... thanks, Edryn." Kakashi deadpanned at me. "No problem." I patted his leg. He chuckled at me, scratching the back of his neck. "Let's go, brat." I looked up at Ibiki. "Be nice, ya brute." I told him. He glared at me. "Let's go find a children's clothing store." Ibiki smirked at me. "It's probably up yer ass, lookin' at yet attitude." I told him. He snarled at me.
I followed behind him as we left, but he's tall as fuck, and has really long legs. "Slow down, ya mountain!" I shouted up at 'im. He looked down at me only to see that I was very much lagging behind. He clicked his tongue at me. The nerve. "Come here, brat." He hissed. I glared at him, slowing my run to a walk as I got closer to 'im. He lifted me up as soon as I was close enough. "RAPE, RA-" He slapped a hand over my mouth. "Shut up. You're just too slow to walk on your own." He hissed at me. I licked his hand. He immediately removed it, his face scrunched up with disgust.
"I wouldn't be too slow if yer legs were shorter." I informed. "But they're not. So I'm carrying you." I was puny in his arms. This man is Goliath I tell yah! "Whatever. Let's just get me some clothes and move on with life." I told him. "Sounds good to me." He muttered, clomping down the stairs. I yawned as we went. "You know, you're kinda fat." I told him. "Shut up, brat." He snapped, annoyed. "I guess yer sensitive about that." I smirked. "No, I'm not." He gritted out. "Alright, jumbo." I told him. He growled.
This will be fun.
