Slowly I was panicking, my breathing hitched. "I'm, uh," I was blanking. Just say your name! "Selena! I'm Selena!"

Once again the small red star that dangled from her neck was in her hands. Sam's eyes followed and they grew wide. Theresa also looked and didn't realize that she subconsciously touched the gift from her father again. The small nova emblem was the last thing she needed Sam noticing. Fumbling, she hid the necklace in her shirt. Hoping that she was quick enough that Sam didn't get a good look at it.

"Selena, huh," Sam nodded, distracted looking where the charm disappear.

"Can you stop looking at my chest?" Theresa asked humorously, her real personality leaking through. A tiny smirk playing on her lips.

"S-sorry!" He looked back up at her eyes. Theresa was slightly nervous now. Now, identical blue eyes were scrutinizing her features.

"Podemos empezar?" Theresa blurted without thinking. She froze. Oh no. She tends to spill spanish when she's nervous. Sam's eyebrow raised but he smirked. Oh, he is so suspicious of her. First a Nova star necklace, then knowing he'll understand Spanish despite meeting him for the 'first' time. Not to mention their uncanny resemblance.

"Bueno," He turned to examine the lab sheet, pulling out the needed chemicals for the simple lab. Theresa busied herself with setting the beakers and graduated cylinders. She let her shoulder length hair fall in her face, in hope that Sam would forget everything. Of course, she knew it didn't work that way but she could hope right? Her finger twitched, wanting to rub the comforting and familiar star again, but she stopped herself, she already messed up once, well, more than once.

"Can I have the vinegar?" She asked quietly. Sam handed it over wordlessly. She also silently measured out the required amount of the chemical that she needed.

Theresa managed to get through the class with minimal interaction and talking with Sam. Which, she was quite thankful for.

The next class, Calculus, seem lacking of Sam or Peter. Theresa let out a small breath of relief.

She soon found herself seated behind two girls who was quietly talking, waiting for class to begin.

"Class, we have a late student," The teacher, an old lady with graying hair and some wire framed glasses perched on the tip of her nose, walking in escorting a shy brunette into the class. The girl's head was lowered but she soon lifted it, her brown eyes staring at Theresa. Theresa almost choked a second time.

"Mayday?" She breathed quietly.

"Ms...?

"Madeline Woods."

"Why don't you sit in that empty seat right there?" The teacher pointed at Theresa. Mayday shuffled to Theresa flashing her a small grin.

"I have a headache from the earlier class, you guys just talk among yourselves, but keep it quiet!" The teacher sat at he desk and pulled out a book.

The two girl in front of them turned to them with warm smiles.

"You two are new right?" A girl with glasses asked.

"Uh, yeah?" Theresa replied.

"Well, welcome to Midtown!" A black hair girl chirped.
