"Whoever you are, it would be advised for the trained ones to handle the threat," Danny called to the girls. Spider-man yelled in agreement. Mayday scoffed. Theresa chuckled at the irony.

Their attention was pulled back to the beast, who let out a loud howl and charged at Theresa. She didn't have time to think about her action and shoot straight up with the Nova energy emitting a light halo around her body.

"Be careful, flashlight!" Mayday yelled in worry, using their superhero nicknames from habit.

"I'm fine!" After a moment of hesitation, Theresa added, "Silly strings."

"Do they somehow remind you of-" Spider-man whispered to Iron Fist.

"You and Nova, yes," The blonde finished, charging in with a glowing fist. He stuck the wolf in the flank, sending it sprawling, but something was left on Danny's fist, a dark blob, that reminded Spider-man of Venom. The darkness quickly dissipated.

"Ew, what was that?" May bleached, staring at Iron Fist's hand, almost expecting something to happen, but nothing did.

"No clue, but I do know that we gotta take this thing down soon," Theresa growled, and shot another beam at it, right after Spider-Man dodged it's jaws. The monster flinched, the beam blasting a hole straight through it. When the girls were about the cheer, they watched in horror as the shadow beast mended itself.

"Ugh, strings, I'll need help for this, I'm going for a big one here so-"

"Got it!" May ran up the nearest wall and Theresa flew right next to May, the female Nova's feet sticking to the wall because of May's powers. She stopped flying.

Then she proceeded to use all of her energy creating the largest blast she could, all while May yelled at the other two teens to move.

Theresa fired. The beam of energy incinerated the beast the black remain floating around before completely dissolving.

"Please tell me it's gone..." Spider-Man muttered.

"HECK YEAH," Theresa cheered, flipping off the wall with May, "See that? Totally awesome!"

"May I ask, who are you two?" Danny finally asked the question everyone was waiting for.

"I'm N-new, a new superhero..." Theresa cursed herself for nearly saying Novae.

"I'm also new," May said smoothly.

"What's with your spider theme?" Spidey asked, point at May, "Sorry to break it to you but it's taken."

"I, uh," Now, May struggled to find an answer.

"I tossed her the first thing we found in a store..." Theresa decided to try and help her out. May's head snapped so fast towards Theresa that she sweared May's neck should've broken.

"What?"

"Well, we should head back now, right, strings?"

"Yeah, flashlight..." Then they bolted. They then looped back to grab their bags and found an alleyway to change back.

"We need to find you a new suit, May."

"And you a way of covering your suit, I mean, if we're going to fight again."

Theresa shifted her pack on her shoulder, humming in agreement. The two once again normally dressed teens were about to leave the alleyway.

"Hello, ladies," A voice greeted from behind them. They turned.

Green T-shirt, jeans, tennis shoes. Theresa couldn't believe it.

"You're our timeline's right?" May asked. He raised an eyebrow.

"What do you think? By the way, I still dislike this 'jeans'." He poked the fabric, while Theresa stared slack-jawed that anyone could look so good in casual clothing and in an alleyway.

"How did Mayday get to into those?" Theresa finally stuttered out. He shrugged. She still couldn't believe it. He stood in front of her. Loki.
