Theresa was progressively getting more and more unnerved as she trekked to the library with Evan walking next to her silently. Theresa was ready to bolt on a moment's notice, her head constantly turning looking for a way out. Where was help or interruptions when you actually needed them? Now she was missing class because she lied to Evan?! Not to mention she was missing a chance to talk to Mayday. Theresa huffed, letting her frustration get the best of her.

"Huh? You okay?" Evan asked sounding genuinely concerned. Do not be fooled, Theresa.

"Yeah," She muttered, "I'm fine, I, uh, just remembered that my teacher told me to be back soon, so can we get there faster?"

"Okay, why are you going to the library in the middle of class?" Their pace sped up.

"I really really wanted a book, you know how I said I like to read earlier? Well I love to read so much that I always want to have a book on me. I begged the teacher and she finally caved so now I'm here. Yeah I like to read that much because..." Theresa rambled finally trailing off with nothing left to say. In truth she was quite proud of her acting skills, and her lying capabilities. Even watched her with amused eyes, a smirk dancing on her face.

Finally, the two reached the library and Theresa dashed off into the shelves that housed the fantasy novels. She let herself exhale in relief when Evan headed over to the reference section. Theresa grabbed the first cover that caught her eye, somehow it being a norse mythology book. Theresa swiftly checked it out and ran out the library. Once again, Evan had watched her leave with a smile gracing his face.

Theresa literally sprinted back towards her classroom and ducked into the girl bathroom closest to the place. She was greeted with Mayday standing at the sink with her arms crossed and a disappointed frown on her face.

"You still can't talk to boys?!" May tsked.

"No," Theresa hung her head in mock shame.

"What was all that training I gave you for then?! It's a wonder how communicate with your boyfriend," May mused, "Speaking of him, we thought you could use some company so he helped us!"

"What's the real reason?" Theresa saw through May's demeanor in a blink.

"Tell you after school."

"What about him?"

May giggled, "Concerned are you?" Theresa hit her. "Okay, okay, geez, he's in the school I think, got him to cut his hair and forced him into regular clothing, but I still hope he doesn't stick out too much."

"Please don't tell me-"

"No, we would never bring that."

"One more question, please tell me you taught him some slang."

"Well, he's fine blending in, so yes?"

"Good, now let's head back, we've being in the bathroom too long."

Theresa headed back first, sprinting hoping to regain some time and therefore be less suspicious. But she screeched to a halt as a large wispy shadow shot by right in front of her.

"What the-" Theresa shrieked. She watching the large black... thing bound off and round a corner in the hall. Okay, this is not good.
