When I opened the front door to walk to school, I was greeted my Jaewoo. "Oh hey," I said smiling. Jaewoo linked his arm with mine like we always did was we walked to school. As we headed towards school, Eunbi met up with us. "Yah! Did you forget me?" Eunbi asked as she smacked my head lightly. I rolled my eyes and smiled as I said," It's like you don't even see Jaewoo". Besides me, I saw him give a small wave to Eunbi. "Hi Jaewoo. Now let's go to school,"Eunbi said, walking ahead of us. Eunbi and Jaewoo always annoyed the crap out of each other but they still love each other.
Weird thing is, Eunbi used to have a crush on Jaewoo. Of course, him be naive and clueless, he never knew until she confessed to him in 8th grade. Jaewoo and Eunbi started dating but they just fell apart. She started thinking of him like a brother and he started thinking of her like a sister so they broke up and stayed friends. Now, she can annoy the crap out of him and he'd fight right back. They act like they never dated since they were only together for like 3 weeks. Then there's Sumin, who has never dated before
When we got to school, we parted ways. I had to go to my locker to get my notebooks. "Soyeon!" I turned around and saw Youngmin walking towards me. "Do you want to go on a date?" He suddenly asked. "What?" I asked. Youngmin kept smiling as he said," You know, I've never taken you on a real date. How about I take you out on one today?" I shrugged and said," Uh sure". Somehow, Youngmin's smiled got even wider as he said," Ok, meet me after school!" And then he just walked off. Seriously? He just walked away smiling like an idiot
Jaewoo's POV
Soyeon went to her locker while Eunbi went to her class. I looked at my schedule and tried to find my first period. Suddenly, I felt myself collide with someone else. Her papers scattered everywhere. "I'm so sorry!" I exclaimed as I strayed picking up her papers. She didn't say anything and just started collecting what she dropped. "I'm Jaewoo," I said as I gave her back her stuff. "Jieun," she told me. She smiled at me but something didn't feel right. "Hey, are you lost?" She asked. I nodded and gave her my schedule. "Room 172 is where I'm heading to! Let's walk together," she suggested, still smiling. Something felt really off about her but since she offered to help me, I pushed that thought out of my mind.
Jieun and I walked to Room 172, making small talk along the way. "You're new right?" She asked. I nodded and saw her grin. Something seemed weird about her grin. Like she was planning something. "So, have you made any friends?" She asked. I nodded and said," I've actually have some old friends that I met. Soyeon, Eunbi and Sumin. You've heard of them right? I've heard they're pretty popular". I saw her clench her fist a little when I mentioned their names. "Oh yeah, everyone knows them," she said after a pause.
"And here we are," Jieun said, a little too perkily. "Thanks," I told her as I went over to find a seat. She mumbled something but I couldn't quite understand what she said. She took a seat next to me and continued to talk. "So, do you like anyone?" She asked suddenly. I was taken back at her question but answered," Um no?" She pouted and said," You seem uncertain". She placed her hand on top of mine and told me," I'm your friend now, you can tell me anything!" I looked at her hesitantly and moved my hand away. I have a feeling that she can't be trusted but why would she help me if she wouldn't be my friend?

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't updated for more than a week. School just started and I am just so tired since I've gotten home. Y'all please pray for me 😫. I may be smart but that doesn't mean I enjoy school.
If anyone's wondering, I'm starting my sophomore year in high school. High school is such a nightmare. I'm amazed I survived freshman year.
