Sorry I haven't updated in so long! My week has been so busy that I barely get 3 hours of sleep but since school got canceled, I was able to write today!

"And what if I don't help you?"
"Then, I guess you'll have to say goodbye to your friends and family."

"I knew I shouldn't have trusted you."
Jieun scoffed.
"And here I was, thinking that my acting was excellent but oh well. At least you were dumb enough to buy it."
Jaewoo opened his mouth to speak but then closed it right away. Jieun leaned back in her seat and sipped her coffee. She checked her watch and causally tap her fingers on the table.
"So, you in or you out?"
Jieun wasn't worried about Jaewoo's answer. She knew that he had no choice but to accept. Jaewoo hesitated to answer. He looked down and fidgeted with his fingers for awhile.
"I guess I'm in."
Jieun smirked. "Great! Now, here's my idea."
—NEXT DAY—
Jaewoo waited nervously outside of a classroom. Soyeon was in here alone, reading through the journal that Eunbi gave her. He'd been pacing outside the room for a few minutes now. Suddenly, Jaewoo's phone buzzed.

Jaewoo was startled by her texted. He looked around to try to spot Jieun but he couldn't see her anywhere.

Jaewoo put his phone back into his pocket and sighed. He turned the handle and walked into the room, purposely leaving the door open. Soyeon didn't notice his presence yet. Jaewoo walked over to her and tapped her on the shoulder. Soyeon jumped a little bit before looking behind her.
"Oh, hi Jaewoo."
"Uh, hey."
Soyeon turned back around in her seat and continued reading. Jaewoo hesitated at first but he did what he had to do. Jaewoo dragged Soyeon out of her seat and to the corner of the room.
"Jaewoo, what are—"
Soyeon was cut off by Jaewoo's lips on hers. Soyeon tried to push him off but he wouldn't budge. Jaewoo leaned in closer, still kissing Soyeon.
"Soyeon?"
Jaewoo backed up slightly to see Youngmin standing in the doorway. His face expressed a mixture of betrayal and heartbreak. Soyeon pushed Jaewoo away and walked towards Youngmin.
"Youngmin, I can explain!"
"Don't bother," Youngmin said as he walked away.
Soyeon turned around to meet Jaewoo's eyes. She was on the verge of tears.
"Jaewoo, why? I thought you were better than this."
Soyeon turned away and went searching for Youngmin. Jaewoo sighed and sat in one of the seats. He placed his hands on his head and groaned. He knew that he had just messed up their friendship.
"Well done Jaewoo!"
He looked up to see Jieun grinning at him from the doorway. She walked closer to him and patted him on the back.
"I honestly thought you were going to back out."
"But then you would've killed my family, right?"
"Correct! You're actually smarter than I thought you were. Well, now the damage had been done!"
Jaewoo looked up at her and raised an eyebrow.
"You're a sick, twisted and evil person. You know that right? I just ruined one of the most important friendships I've ever had and you're happy? I honestly can't believe I ever thought that you were a nice and sweet person. You are a really fucked up person."
"Aw, is little Jaewoo upset? Don't worry! Eventually, Soyeon's gonna fall in love with you and I get Youngmin."
Jaewoo's phone started buzzing. He just got messages from Sumin and Eunbi.
