Jaewoo drove us since he lost rock passer scissors. "I still think this is a bad idea," Eunbi told us for like the 5th time. "We know you do," Sumin said. Throughout the entire ride, Eunbi kept complaining how dangerous this was. She was right but this was important to me. When Jaewoo finally got the car parked, Eunbi asked, "Are we even allowed to visit her?" Sumin nodded and said, "A convicted prison gets two 1-hour visits every 4 weeks. So let's hope that Jieun hasn't visited her two times in this month." I sighed and got out of the car.
We had to go through a very long process to get in. All the security made me a little nervous. "Ok guys, security guards is going to be with us the whole time so you don't have to worry about Juhyeon," Sumin said, gesturing to the two security guards behind us. "Wait, we're gonna be in a room with her?!" Jaewoo asked. "Duh," I said. Jaewoo sighed and shook his head.
"Wait here," one of the guys said. We got to Juhyeon's room. He must be opening the door. The security guard yelled some stuff at Juhyeon, like to stay away from the door. "Ok, you will enter after one of us," he said. The other guard walked in and then we walked in, the second security guard behind us. As we walked in, Juhyeon was sitting on her bed smiling at us. It was a little creepy. She barely even blinked.
"Ok, I'm officially creeped out. Can we get out of here?" Sumin slapped Eunbi's arm and shook her head. "C'mon, just sit down." The four of us sat down a few feet away from Juhyeon's bed.
"So tell me, what brings me the honor of seeing the all famous sister of Seoyoung, Jung Soyeon?"
Chills ran down my back as she said my name. "I-I... need to... know—"
"Honey, I don't have all day."
I cleared my throat and spoke again. "I need to kn-know what happened with m-my sister."
I thought Juhyeon couldn't get any creepier— she definitely just got 100 time's creepier as she let out a psychotic laugh. The four of us sat silently as she kept laughing. "Oh, I'm sorry laughing but every time I think of Seoyoung, I just remember her trying to run away. Ah, that was a good time."
"Umm, what do you mean by run away?" Sumin asked this time. Juhyeon quukly whipped her head towards Sumin's direction. Juhyeon stared at her, making Sumin slightly uncomfortable. ""I used to have a loyal friend. Of course, she's dead now but Chaeyoung was an ok friend. Well, besides the part where she started stealing Yoonseo from me."
Juhyeon started playing with her hair. "Ahhh, I miss those old time. Just Chaeyoung and I, not giving a care to the world. We had many stories to tell. You mush want the full story as to why I murdered your sister!"
Before we could say anything, of course not to protest but to say something out of pure shock, she started telling us her side of the story. Well the only side we could hear.
"Lets start off with the entire reason why I envied her— Yoonseo liked her. Of course, that seems like a petty reason but Yoonseo was mine. I had faked a letter to Seoyoung, telling her to meet me on the rooftop and signed it of with Yoonseo's name. When she came up, I locked the door and started pushing her towards the ledge. I didn't give one hard push 'cause I wanted to see her struggle a bit. And just like that, she started fighting back. Too bad she was too weak. After a few seconds, I have one hard push and off she went, landing on the hard concrete. Too bad Chaeyoung didn't know about it. I didn't want to scare her off but she was dumb and befriended Yoonseo. I felt bad about killing her but that guilt went away after a few minutes."
We just sat there listening. I promised myself not to cry. I was too mad and shocked to feel sad enough to cry. Juhyeon ended off her story and smile at us. If she wasn't possessive and a psychopath, she could've been a nice person. Her smile was very sweet and sometimes, she even looked like she couldn't even hurt a fly.
Of course, we all know that's not true.
