When I got home, I immediately went to my room to change out of my school uniform. Youngmin said that he would pick me up at about 5:00 instead of right after school. He said something about meeting my parents which scared me a little but I knew I would have to tell them eventually. I changed into a pair of shorts with a loose t-shirt and waited in my room until I heard the doorbell ring. I rushed downstairs before my parents could answer the door. "Why are your dressed?" I heard my mother asked. I ignored her and opened the door. Youngmin was standing there, holding a bouquet of red tulips. "Aw, thank you so much!" I told him as he handed me the bouquet.
"Jung Soyeon! Who is this man and why are you accepting flowers from him?!" My mother yelled. My dad was besides her, a frown plastered on his face. "Come in", I whispered to Youngmin. He came in and wrapped his arm around my waist. My mom and dad looked furious. "Hello, my name is Im Youngmin and I'm-" Youngmin hesitated to finish his sentence so I did for him. "This is Youngmin and he's my boyfriend", as I finished my sentence, my mom immediately blew up. "JUNG SOYEON YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE A BOYFRIEND!" My mom yelled. I winched at the fact that she was yelling really loudly. I felt Youngmin's grip tighten around my waist.
My dad looked at Youngmin's arm and told him, "Get your hands off her." Youngmin held his hands up and then let them hang by his sides. "Mom, dad! Why can't I date him?" I asked. I knew they wouldn't do anything drastic since Youngmin was present. My mother looked aghast and said,"Why are you not allowed?! You are no way permitted to be dating!" "I am 17! I should be able to date who I want!" I yelled back. My dad hushed my mom and asked Youngmin," Who are your parents?" "Dr.Im Yeolwoo, head CEO of NCsoft and Dr.Im Kyungeun, president of Naver Corporation," as Youngmin said that, a smirk grew on my face. Youngmin's parents were the type of people my parents want to associate with.
My parents looked taken back but it was mostly my mom. "O-oh, I'm so sorry Youngmin, I'm just very overprotective of my daughter," My mom said, a smile growing on her face. "I understand completely," Youngmin said. My dad invited Youngmin into the living room. As we sat down on the couch, I placed the flowers on the table and Youngmin intertwined our hands together. "So Youngmin, are you taking Soyeon on a date?" My dad asked. Youngmin nodded and said," But don't worry sir, I'll talk good care of your daughter for you". My mom smiled and told him," Well, you two can go on your lovely date now!" Youngmin said goodbye to my parents and dragged me out of the house as soon as possible.
"Uh wow," was all he said as soon as I closed the front door. "Yeah I know. My parents are evil," I told him. "I'm just glad that my parents are important. I wonder what your parents' reactions be if my parents weren't CEOs or presidents," Youngmin said as we walked. I scoffed and said," I think they would've kicked you out and then kick me in the stomach after you've left". Youngmin frowns and faced me. "I don't want you to get hurt because of me," he said. I rolled my eyes and told him," You've said that to me about 5 times already. Plus, you saw how nice they became. They won't be too mad at me when I get home".
He still didn't smile. "What do you mean they won't be 'too mad' at you?" He asked. I shrugged and said," I mean, we've been dating for weeks now so any parent would be hurt that they weren't told that information". Youngmin's expression softened and he gently took my hands. "Text or call if anything is wrong ok?" He insisted. I rolled my eyes and said," Fine". Youngmin chuckled and told me,"Good".

Ok, I had way too much free-time in science because I had finished our work for the next 3 days yesterday so my teacher told me I could go on my tablet. I started writing until the bell rang.
I literally used 30 minutes out of the 45 minute period to write. That felt really nice.
