"Mmhm I thought so."
Sumin sat back down and calmly smoothed her skirt out. Jaewoo glared at all three girls but them sighed.
"I know I've been a horrible friend."
The girls stayed silent at that point. They were really mad at them but how could they throw away years and years of friendship down the drain in a split second. The four of them had a strong bond with each.
"Could you guys possibly forgive me?"
Eunbi narrowed her eyes while Soyeon and Sumin stared at him. Jaewoo had only done it because he was threatened so Sumin wanted to forgive him. Soyeon's thought the same thing but it was a lot harder for her to forgive him. He almost ruined one of the most important relationships she had. It was all so confusing for her.
On the other hand, Eunbi didn't want to forgive Jaewoo too easily.
"I'll give you this. I get 5 slaps. I can use them anytime, anywhere no matter what and you can't refuse them. If you let me have those 5 slaps them I'll probably forgive you."
Jaewoo sighed at Eunbi's reasoning. Her slaps hurt. Like badly. But he didn't want to ruin their friendship. Jaewoo thought for a few seconds before answering.
"If I give you those 5 slaps, you have to forgive me. Deal?"
"Deal."
"So, Sumin and Soyeon. What's your deal?"
Sumin was hesitant to say at first but she just decided not to.
"I'm good."
"Soyeon? You have to ask for something or I'll feel even worse."
Soyeon thought for a second. There were a lot of things that Soyeon could've asked for but she wanted it so be something that was sentimental and something that money couldn't buy.
"I want you to directly apologize to Youngmin. Also, stop hanging out with Jieun. You did what you had to do so stop being around her."
"No, he shouldn't."
Everyone looked at Sumin.
"Get close with her and maybe we could find out who pushed Seoyoung. I had a feeling that maybe Jieun did it or maybe she could be tied into it somehow."
Jaewoo looked at Sumin and then at Soyeon.
"Do it. But after you've tried long and hard to get info out of Jieun, you stop hanging out with her immediately."
Jaewoo nodded.
"Wait, why do you think Jieun's involved?"
Sumin looked at Eunbi and asked her for the journal. Eunbi handed Sumin the journal that they found and opened it up to a page. Sumin read a part of the journal aloud.
" 'No one thought of us, the Heo family. Only the family that the famous Jung Seoyoung and her stupid little sister.' And I know that seems ludicrous because Heo is a very common last name but have you ever stopped and wondered why Jieun hates you so much?"
"That's easy. She told me herself too. Jieun said that she liked Youngmin and that I annoyed her with my presence. Easy as that."
Eunbi and Jaewoo both rolled their eyes while Sumin just sighed.
"What if Jieun was the one who pushed Seoyoung or was somehow involved? That would explain why she hates Soyeon so much!"
Jaewoo shrugged.
"I don't know but Sumin's the smart one so I'll do what she says."
