Normal P.O.V

'Come on, keep running!' She was panting heavily as she was running from her pursuers. Adrenaline was rushing through her veins as she a tempted to lose them. Eventually she came to a stop, her chest was beginning to hurt after everything she had just ran from. Looking down, she examined the pokemon egg she held in her arms, gently she smoothed and whispered, "Don't worry, I won't let them hurt you."

Unsure of where to go, she began to wander around the area only to hear the rushing waters of a river and a distant crashing that could only be from a waterfall. She jogged over to the river, still a bit wary of being out in the open due to a few of his grunts chasing after her. Slowly she got to the river, constantly checking to her sides to ensure no one saw her. She quickly crouched down and dipped her hand in the river to check the now cupped water. "It seems clean enough to drink, Arceus only knows how much I need one!" She muttered to herself, before drinking some of the water. As she stood up, she was greeted by a Liepards low hissing. Turing quickly, she realized that she had been found; not to mention with nowhere to flee.

"Thief, do you have any idea how long we've been searching for you?" The Plasma grunt growled at her. She stepped back nervously, checking behind her to see how far the river was. "Come back with me, and face the punishment for your crime!"
"Never, and how about listening you your own advice! You and the rest of your team are just a bunch of organised thieves which are no better than Team Rocket!"
"Liepard, use Thief! Get that egg back!" The grunt ordered the pokemon, who in turn looked at her as if asking for last words.
"Tell him to forget about me, he'd be better off that way." She told the pokemon with a slight chuckle at the end, and clutch the egg protectively.

She glared at the grunt and almost as if she was in slow motion she fell backwards, only to be carried off by the river. The grunt ran up to where she once stood. "Damn! She just killed herself? That stupid thief! Come on Liepard, we've got to report back to boss. He sure isn't going to be happy about this..." And like that, the plasma grunt ran off to report back to his boss.

Gasping, she pushed her body up, lungs burning with need for oxygen. The river carried her downstream quickly, she tried desperately to get out before it was to late. The protective vice that held the egg stayed strong. 'Will protecting this unhatched pokemon be the reason to how I die?' The dark thought crossed her mind as the end of the river neared, she uttered her prayers to Arceus before being flung over the edge. A blood curdling scream rips itself from her throat as the waterfall takes her under.

Professor Juniper's P.O.V

I was on my way to Striaton City to see the process of Project Dream. Nothing too big, just a project that Fennel had begun to research, or at least as far as I know. Today had been a rather quiet day, so I decided to stop by the river on route 1. Once I got there, I noticed someone laying in the water by the bank of the river, I ran up to where they laid. I knelled besides them and pulled them onto the land, and to my surprise an egg rolled out of their grasp! I pressed my fingers to the girls neck in search of a pulse, I was relieved to find one. She was breathing shallowly, but breathing none the less! I quickly called the father of Bianca explained the situation. Not long after I hear him calling.
"Juniper!? Where are you?"
"By the river!"
"Oh my, here lift her slightly so I can pick her up." With a team effort we got this Jane Doe up onto Bianca's dad's back. "Where should I take her?"
I thought about it for a good minute before replying. "My lab, I can keep an eye on her to see if she will need more intensive care. Hopefully it won't come to that, but I'll call the Poke Center just as a precaution." And with that we were off, back to my lab for the Jane Doe to recover and once she's awake, well we'll see what to do from then.
"Oh! I nearly forgot" I jogged back and picked up the egg that Jane Doe held onto. "We wouldn't want to forget you now would we, the girl would be very upset if we did. Probably."
