Chapter 15

Hey guys!! I owe you more chapters, so let's get to work shall we?

-still dreaming-

Trapped in the gaze of my sister, I rasp out cries for help, but it felt like hours of me just sitting there until the dream lights up and I awake.

-dream ends-

"Alex breakfast!" Mommy sing-songs.

I wake up sweating, panting and her expression faulters. I shake off my fear and forget about the dream, changing into my school clothes and brushing my hair and teeth. I put on some shoes and come running down the stairs.

"Good morning daddy!" I say to Daddy who was cooking eggs.

He smiles at me. "Good morning sunshine." He says smiling. I sit on the barstool and he places some food in front of me. Mommy and Daddy sit next to me with a player full of eggs, we pray and gulp down the food.

Soon I was out the door for school.

Time skip, that's right. Im bringing it back!

Once I got home I was super excited, a girl just invited me to spend the night with her friday night! Her name was Jalen, she had really short blonde hair. I told mommy about it and she called Jalen's mother to work it out.

Daddy and me watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles while Mommy is on the phone.

"Ya know what we should do." Daddy whispers in my ear. "What."

"Prank mommy!" Daddy says. I nod in agreement. "What should we do?" He asks. "We should put baby powder in her hair dryer, so when she turns it on it gets all over her!" I say giggling. He nods. "The plan is a go!" He says.

Mommy walks over. "What are you two giggling about?" She asks. we shake our heads. "Nothing!" She qwerks an eyebrow.

"Anyway, so you can go Alex, but you have to remember to be responsible and not eat any bread or anything gluten, okay?"  She says.I nod. "Yay thank you!" I say celebrating she sat down on the couch and we watched teenage mutant ninja turtles.

"I have to go to the hostpital real quick, when they gave you the oxygen tank they never gave you the extra air tanks, so I need to go pick those up. Plus I need to get the BiPAP instructions  because you need to start using it tonight." Mommy says. We nod at her and she grabs her stuff and goes out the door.

Me and Daddy then race to the window to make sure she drives out of site. We then run to her bathroom and put our plan into action. I get baby powder out of the cabinet while Daddy takes off the front to the hair dryer.

We pour in the powder and put the hair dryer back together. We then hear her car pull up so we run back the living room and unpause Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

She comes in with a box that looked really heavy for her. "I picked up the spare parts that we need for the BIPAP in case it breaks down, can you go get the oxygen tanks Pat?" She asks.  He nods and runs out to the car.

She puts the box on the counter and reaches inside, pulling out a piece of paper, ahead reads through it and writes something on it, then runs out to help Daddy.

I sit there stroking cute little cloud and playing with him while they haul in air tanks. Mommy walks toward me and replaces my oxygen tank with another one. "Okay, we're all good to go. I have to go finish editing something and then we can go out for dinner, sound good?" Daddy says. Me and Mommy nod.

-Time Skip, in the car-

"Can we go to Roadhouse down here, Mommy?" I say hopefully.  "Sound good Pat?" He nods.

I celebrate. "Hey, why don't you sing something Alex?"

"There's a war inside my head, some times I wish that I was dead. So I called this therapists you can't be fixed. I'm tired at tryin to be normal, I'm always overthinking. So if ya say I'm crazy? So what if I'm kinda crazy,And I don't need your quick fix
I don't want your prescriptions

Before I knew it we were at Roadhouse!
When we got a table I ordered steak and mashed potatoes, and got chocolate milk. They gave us a plate of fried pickles while we waited for our food. I eat the pickles and read through the kids menu they gave me, drawing and coloring different things.

"Hey Alex, after school tomorrow I was thinking you could invite this Jalen girl over so you two can get to know eachother" Mommy asks.

"That sounds good." Daddy adds. I nod frantically. "Yes yes yes yes!" I say.

They smile. "Then I'll call her mom again later." Soon our food was here so we prayed and ate up our food.

All I could think about was Mommy getting blasted by baby powder, so the whole time I was giggling weirdly. "Alex?" Mommy says, qwerkimg an eyebrow at me. That made me giggle more. Daddy knew what I was giggling about and looked on the verge of laughing to.

She looks in between of me and Daddy and sighs, shaking her head. "I'm just gonna pretend that didn't happen. I giggle even more at that.

The waiter comes and collects our empty plates, putting leftovers in to go  boxes then places the food cost on the fable, Mommy and Daddy pay for it and then we get inside the car, as soon as I get in the back seat I'm asleep.

-Jens POV-

Alex fell asleep in the back seat of the car while Pat was driving. "I'm glad Alex is making friends." I say. He nods.  "Ya, I was worried it would be hard for her, and kids can say things that hurt eachother's feelings without realizing it at that age." Pat says. I nod.  He suddenly slammed on the brakes, causing my head to fly back. "Pat!!"

"Shh! Look at that!" He says, I look over the dashboard. There in the middle of the road is a 10 year old girl, she isn't moving. I hop out of the car and run toward her.

The girl has blonde hair, she's breaking slightly, so she isn't dead. She didn't seem hurt. I gently shake the girl awake, whispering at her and asking her what's wrong. Hr eyes open, she has eyes that remind me of Alex.

"The baby." She says. "What baby?" Pat asks. I shush him, turning back toward the little girl. "The baby isn't a baby anymore." She says slightly louder. I look at Pat, and he holds my gaze, I turn back to the girl but she's gone. We run back in the car and don't stop driving until we are home.

Pay carries Alex toward her room and I lock all the doors and windows.

We eventually after a while of being paranoid go to sleep.
