Chapter 17

Last chapter before the Q and A!  Please try and comment questions!

"Hello." She hisses. I flinch at her words, my lip quivering. She laughs menacingly. "You wish to go back with your friend heh?" Evangeline says, pushing my hair behind my ear.

"P-please don't hurt me." I rasp. She laughs and stands up, yanking on my wrist. "Oh sister! Whatever gave you that idea?" She says. I almost laugh, almost. She senses my scoff and scowls. "You think this is funny!?" She demands. I shake my head rapidly.

The landscape fades and I'm back with Jalen, staring at the computer screen exactly how it was before. Not a second had went by... Was I imagining her?

I shake it off and continue the game. I blocked our bed with Obsidian. "Ahh! Help Alex a guy is chacing me!" Jalen says, laughing.

I laugh. "What's his wielded weapon?"

"It's a wood sword but I only have 1 HP and I have diamonds on me so hurry!" She says. "Ok ok I'm coming." I say. "WHAT THE FRICK HE JUST PULLED OUT A DIAMOND SWORD HELP ME!!" Jalen says. I laugh and move my avatar. "You only have 1 HP so what does it matter what kind of sword he has?" I say.

"Oh your right. Aaaannnd I'm dead. Goodbye to those diamonds." Jalen says making me laugh.

"Here I'm coming back to base, I'll give yo GFu some Obsidian so you can cover the bed and I'll go get some loot." I say. She nods and I head back to the base, giving her Obsidian and heading back. "Okay I put it all down, I'm gonna do some shopping. What thE FREAK THE GUY IS BACK!" Jalen says.

"Kill him." I say simply. "He just slayed me, dang it he destroyed our bed!"

"Aww crap." I say. "What's wrong?" Jalen asks. "I'm being killed and we have no bed.... Aaaand I'm dead." I say. "You're on your own Jalen." I say.

"WHAT?" She says, making me laugh. We play for a couple hours before Jalen had to go home.

The next day was my sleepover! I was so excited I could hardly wait. Mommy was packing my oxygen and my BiPAP, but  it didn't bother me anymore because I was going to a my first sleepover!

"Yo." Daddy says, pointing at me. "If you be bad, you're going to be grounded." He says, kinda laughing. "From what?" I challenge him. "Uhh."

"Life!" Mommy says, making us both laugh.

"Can't wait!!" I squeel. "Well go get in the car so we can go." Pat says, I giggle and run outside, rolling my oxygen behind me and carrying my bag. They get in the car then we all head down to Jalen's.

"Sing something." Mommy says.
"Ok! "

"I am a lost boy, from Neverland, usually hanging out with, Peter Pan. And when we're bored we play in the woods, always on the run from, Captain Hook. Run run Lost Boy, they say to me. Way way from reality. Neverland is home, to Lost Boys like me, and Lost Boys like me are free." I sing.

We get to Jalen's, she told me other girls were gonna be there.

I hop out of the car, careful with my tank and my bag. I skipped up and rang the doorbell. The door was answered by four girls. One was Jalen, and another I recognized as Dixie, who is in my class. We didn't talk much.

"Hey Alex." Evangeline says, Jalen's mom..... I'll never get over her name. Just a coincidence. I say to myself.

"This is Dixie, Alan, and Georgie!" Jalen says. Evangeline helps my mom carry in my BiPAP and oxygen tanks while I talk with them. "Well have fun!" Daddy says, kissing my forehead. And with that Mommy and Daddy leave.

"Okay girls! Board games are in the kitchen, pizza will be here soon, Alex I ordered you some Chinese food, your mother said you liked it." Evangeline says. I smile and say "Thanks so much Mrs. Evangeline." I say. It pained me every time to say her name. "Okay, I have to catch up on some work in my room, you girls have fun." She says.

"So you guys wanna play Monopoly?" Jalen asks. We cheer and go into the kitchen, setting up the game."This one looks like you Alan." Dixie teases, holding up a fire hydrant token. "Haha. Very funny." Alan says. "Can I be the cat?" I ask. "Only if I get to be the dog!" Jalen giggles. "I'll be the thumb tack."

"Guess I'm the fire hydrant." Alan sighs. We all laugh and Dixie says "Told you!" Alan sticks her tongue out, we begin the game, Jalen being the banker.
