Cecile's Pov

I suddenly realize what the bad feeling was. I got it from that servant that offered us some drinks earlier. I felt something off from his and something was telling me that he is different from the other servants that were here.

"Say, will you help me protect your sister?" I ask him this. He looks at me surprised,

"You can just leave it to the guards," he says, "A lady like you shouldn't have to worry about protecting others."

"This has nothing to do with me bing a lady, I can protect those I wish to protect and just because I am not a man doesn't mean that I can't have the power to protect others," i simply say. He is silent for a while before he nods.

"Alright, I'll help you. I would have saved my sister anyways if that servant makes his move." He shrugs like it's no big deal to him and this is a simple task, as easy as breathing. "Do you have a plan?" He asks me with a tone I'm not sure about, maybe it's playful or maybe it's mocking, I don't know, nor do I care about such things.

"The east kingdoms prince will protect Linda, that we know, so we should focus on finding out that servants plan and leave him to protect her." I say. "Though I don't know where he would be and fro what reason she is being targeted."

"Hmmm, well if you are looking to find a clue to where he is, perhaps he snuck into one of the guards that is currently guarding everyone right now. I can go ask around so how about you focus on acting as you naturally are. I'm sure that if he notices you acting suspiciously then he will act faster." He says this and we walk away from everyone dancing.

"Yeah, but I-," I try to tell him that I want to protect Linda and not sit around here and let someone else do my mission but he cuts me off.

"I know you want to protect my sister, so just stay near her for now, as long as the servant is not suspicious of us, then he shouldn't act right away and he might wait until the last event for the ball where it will be dark to strike." He tells me this and I know that he is right and that I should wait. If he really does make his move when it is dark, then it's best to find him first and not let him attack.

"Alright, but what if he gets suspicious of you leaving? We have been talking for a while now and so if he see's you leaving, don't you think he will be even more suspicious because you are her brother?"

"I won't be gone for long, and everyone knows I don't like these types of things so me leaving will not be an issue. I'll come back in an hour and then we can meet up again by the drinks, how about that?" He asks and I find myself feeling that I can trust him so I nod my head.

"Alright, an hour from now let's meet again," I tell him and we both say goodbye and turn and leave.

"Say Cecile, what were you talking about with my brother," Linda immediately heads over to me when the prince and I depart to play our roles.

"Your brother knows that you are being targeted and that I am here to protect you, he doesn't know the reason nor seem to know who I really am. Right now he is searching for a servant who is going to attack you, it isn't the east kingdoms prince who planned this Linda, it's someone else," I say quietly to her before smiling. "We talked about a few thing and the first prince asked me to meet with him in an hour to speak again because he doesn't want to stay here for a while since he does't like these kinds of things," I say louder so other can here. And they easily accept this and begin gossiping. Mira is close enough to us so she was able to hear what I said to.

"So you two weren't flirting with each other," she says surprised.

"Eh, how would you get that idea?" I ask her.

"Well you both seemed comfortable around each other and were smiling and teasing each other from our point of view," she points this out and when I do think back I suppose to others who didn't hear what we were saying to think we were flirting.

"I just hope this doesn't cause any problems," I say sighing.

"Don't say that! You will jinx yourself!" Linda says interrupting me. The three of us continue to talk and eventually the east kingdom prince, Evan joins us. Linda is cautious around him but she starts opening up to him to his delight. He tells her about many different things in the east kingdom like how they mostly are known for their medicine and knowledge. Of course they are strong to but it's not their strongest point which is why they are a neutral kingdom that helps all the kingdoms out.

"The south kingdoms princess, Princess Irina, the queen, Queen Delilah has arrived!" A servant announces and everything is quiet. The south kingdom has never been invited yet they have arrived. If we were to turn them away, it will cause huge trouble for the kingdom because we can't just be rude to them and refuse them. However with them appearing, many people will be on edge and no one will get along with others in case if they support the south kingdom or not.

A girl with brown hair and golden eyes wearing a black and white dress appears. She is holding a puppet like doll that looks exactly like her and the first word that comes to my mind is evil. This girl is pure evil. Her mother looks the same except she had normal brown eyes instead of golden eyes and the same brown hair.

Ling: @LunarWolfNeko I'm so sorry for not updating when I said I would. I was planning to yesterday but I didn't get the chance to because I was in Canada for the whole day and I couldn't use my phone to type the story. I really should stop making promises because my parents always plan something and tell me at the last minute like to day I went shopping for new school clothes. Plus when I was in Canada I was Kayaking (? Is that how you spell it) and my arms hurt because my brother wasn't helping us and I was the only one along with my uncle, not really my uncle but still, and we were out there for a little more than an hour. So I hope you enjoy this chapter. I don't know what should happen next and I don't want to type anymore than this so you will have to wait until the next update. ^ ^ . Sorry. Thanks everyone who has been reading any of my stories so far and especially to those who has followed me.  It hasn't yet been a year since I created this account and I already  can never regret doing so.  It's very fun to write my own stories and seeing you all read, vote, comment etc. Well I'm probably boring you so you can go now, and also I hope you know that I have other stories that I hope you all check out too.  Reincarnated to another World as I've been saying for a while now is almost completes and I plan on releasing a new story soon.  But this time it's not a reincarnated story, sorry everyone who loves those like me.   Instead it's going to be about a girl and I guess kinda modern day ish.  I do hope you will check it out and I will release a preview, we'll summary, tomorrow on Reincarnated to another World so check it out later please and tell me your thought.  I kept talking again, so sorry >~< .  Ok I truly am done now so bye bye everyone~
