Prince in the Mask

Cecile's Pov

I stand around awkwardly as many men try to dance with me.  I'm wearing a brown and purple dress and my hair is tied down with a braid in the front.  Linda and Mira are by my side and are faced with the same situation.  I try to relax when Linda warns me that my expression is turning bad.  A servant with oddly good looks offers us a drink but we decline.  I have a feeling that something is not right but I don't notice what.  I have a feeling the danger is already here yet the prince is not.

"Hello beautiful, can you tell me your name?" One of the nobles asks me.  I sigh and remind myself that this is a mission and I should act properly so to avoid attention, I shouldn't make a scene.  But avoid attention with the princess and with the dukes daughter is impossible so I should just follow along with their requests as long as it's not inappropriate or separates me to far from Linda.

"My name is Cecile, may I know what your name is?" I ask kindly.

"My name is Aron Hindsworth," he says.(A.N. Ok I don't really care about some random guys name so I don't really care how it sounds like, last name.)

"We'll it's a pleasure to meet you, now if you'll excuse me Mr. Hindsworth, I have other things to do," I turn around and call out to Linda and Mira.

"Linda, Mira, how about we get something to drink," I say directing us to an area where not many people are which is by the drinks and snacks.  We declined the drinks from the servant earlier so we can use the excuse of wanting something to drink to get away now.  They both look relieved when I give them an excuse to get away from the men and happily accept.

"I'm sorry, Cecile wants to go get something to drink and since it's her first time, she is pretty nervous so will you excuse us just this once," Linda kindly asks the gentleman.

"Really, it's her first time?  Well I suppose as long as you promise to talk with us later," they laugh and let us go.  Luckily they aren't so rude and my impression of the improves slightly.

Linda, Mira, and I walk over and I grab a drink and so do they.  The drink I have is a sweet drink with very little alcohol in it.  They also get the same thing.  It has a fruity taste to it and I really like it.  "Say where is the east kingdoms prince, I don't think he has arrived yet."  I ask them.  And right after I do, a servant announces his arrival.

"The East kingdoms prince has arrived!"  I look over and see a boy with blonde hair and green eyes.  He's wearing a blue, white, and black outfit.  (A.N. Just ignore the hat down below)

"Well there he is," Mira sighs.  I see many young noble ladies eyes him with hearts in their eyes.  Only Linda, Mira, and I, also most of the married woman too are the only ladies that hasn't fallen for his looks.
