Target: Forgotten Princess

Cecile's Pov

When these south kingdoms princess and queen arrives, everyone is quiet.

"Oh, what is the south kingdom princess and queen doing here?" Linda questions as she walks over to them. She gives them a proper greeting before saying this though. Mira and I follow behind her and stand by her side.

"Have come to see my prince of course," Princess Irina says arrogantly with her head held high.

"My older brother is not your though," Linda says smiling irritated with Irina's attitude.

"He will be mine." She says ignoring Linda. "Where is my prince." She demands a servant. The servant timidly answers her in a weak voice.

"Prince Derek left just a moment ago."

"Then go find him!" She raises her voice and whines like a child. "Mother! I want to dance with my prince!" Irons turns to her mother and her mother orders her own servants to search for the prince.

"What is going on here!" A powerful voice booms and most people feel weak in their knees by his presence and pressure. The only one who seems fine is Linda, the prince, a few guards and I. We all are standing up perfectly straight not affected, but I am slightly and so is Linda. Mira barely can stand up straight but not on the ground like Irina. I look at Queen Delilah and she surprisingly is fine too. So this is the woman my father married after my mothers death and forgot about me.

"Greetings, your highness," Queen Delilah greets our king. "My daughter has come to see your first son."

"You and your daughter are not in charge here. If you are to stay in my kingdom, you will not act on your own accord and do as you wish." The king says this as a warning. He is not going to allow them to cause trouble and act like they own the place as long as they are here and if they do, there will be consequences.

"Alright, my daughter will just have to wait until the prince returns then," the queen is smart to not ignore his warning.

"But mother!" Irina whines with tears in her eyes.

"Irina you will wait. Act properly, do you want the prince to see you like this?" When Irina hears her mothers words about the prince, she instantly acts properly as a princess should.

"Now everyone, lets go back to the party, the night is still young," our king raises his glass and everyone shouts cheers. Everyone goes back to what they were doing and secretly talk about the south kingdom. The queen looks over at us and then she looks at me and freezes.

"Celeste?!" She looks shocked and says the name of my mother.

"My name is Cecile, Queen Delilah."  I correct her.

"Pardon me then, you look like a woman I despi- I mean a woman that I know," she gives me a fake smile but mutters under her breath, "This girl looks exactly like that ***** Ceselte," I was shocked to hear her say this but act like I couldn't hear her. I just fake a smile and Mira and Linda notice I am angry and leads me away after saying goodbye.

"Why do you think that she called you Celeste, Cecile?"  Linda asks as we walk away.

"I don't know, but my mothers name is Celeste," I say thinking.  Then I realize the time and that I was suppose to meet with the first prince.  "I should go get a drink because I'm going to meet him soon and figure out some information about that servant that came in as a spy," I tell them and then leave to where I should go be meeting up with the first prince. I walk over and grab a drink and he comes in from who knows where. He grabs my arm telling me to follow him so I do.

The first prince leads me outside to a garden where we can speak privately.

"So did you find any information?" I ask him.

"Yeah, but there was a change in their plans. At first they were going after my sister because she keeps opposing Princess Irina and gets in the way from her meeting me and my brother. But now their target is supposedly a forgotten princess, I don't know who or which the princess is from though," he tells me. I freeze and sense danger approaching. The prince does to. Before I can react, the prince grabs me pulling me into a hug and jumps away. I feel a strange familiarity in his warmth that reminds me of Sage's warmth.  We both look over and see a boy in black with a weapon that makes him look like a grim reaper.
