Mission: Infiltrate the South Kingdom

Cecile's Pov

After everything that has happened, I'm now back to my daily routine.  I'm not always needed so I've had free time lately.  Wait scratch that.  I've had free time ever since my real gender has been found out.  I think Sage has something to do with this, because most of the missions I've been given before were dangerous or even just a little bit.  Luckily he promised he won't tell others about who I really am so everyone still calls me Ciel when they meet me. No one else knows, but I think so of the people higher up and suspicious why their prince told them not to send me on dangerous missions without "Sage."  They haven't figured out that he is their prince yet thought.  I've been moved in with Akira.  

She was disappointed when she found out I was a girl.  But then she gave me a smile and told me that we should be the best of friends and she follows me around all over the place now still.  In fact, I might be imagining it but she seems happy that I'm a girl and she can be around me much more than when she thought I was a boy.

Knock, Knock

I hear the sound of someone knocking on the door so I say, "Come in."  The door opens and I see Sage.

"Sage," I brighten up and smile at him.  He smiles too and tells me the most exciting news I've heard in weeks.

"We got a mission Cecile, you and I are going to the south kingdom" He tells me with a slight frown now.

"Alright, yeah!"  I cheer not bothered with his bad mood.

"Will you be ok with returning to the kingdom you were born in?  It's possible that someone might find out you are there and you may be put in danger." He says worried about me.  I smile and decide to tease him.  I guess you could say I'm dating this prince.  We haven't actually asked each other to be boyfriend and girlfriend, but we both already consider we are this.  

"That's alright Sage, I want to go on this mission with you for three reasons."  I still call him Sage because he prefers me to call him this.

"Oh?  And what would they be?"  Sage asks curious.  

"One, I can see what my kingdom I was born in is like." I take a step closer to Sage. "Two, I finally get  thrilling mission, you have no idea how crazy I'm going just being cooped up and left out of missions." I glare at him taking another step closer and he laughs a little looking away.  'Three," I grab him and pull him not to my level.  We are gave to face and I smirk when he gulps.  "I get to be alone with you for the mission."  I let him go and laugh at his face.  He realizes that I'm teasing him so he pretends to get angry and scoops me up, spinning me around.  

"You dare tease this prince?  You better be ready to pay the consequences," he says in a fake angry stern tone and I laughs while getting dizzy.

"Hahaha, ok ok Prince Derek, this knight princess is sorry," I laugh.  He laughs too and finally sets me down.  I try to stand but lose my balance so I cling to Sage's arm so I don't fall.

"Sorry!  Are you ok?"  He asks worried as he supports my body with his own.  I smile at his kindness and find myself lucky this guy has fallen in love with me and vise versa.

"Yeah, you don't have to so much.  I'm not a fragile little girl Sage, I DID become a knight and am apart of the Shadow guard." I tell him lightly.

"Yeah, yeah, in my eyes, you are as delicate as a flower, even if you can protect yourself, I want to be the one to protect you instead so you don't have to be in any kind of danger," he tells me looking in my eyes with his own full of love.

"Aww, look at you Prince Charming.  You really have a way with words, I guess I have to make sure that I keep you away from young girls or else you will charm them and break their hearts when you are together with me," I laugh.

"In my eyes, you are the only one worthy of being with me," he says serious.  I stare at him for a second before he continues.  "I don't want to be together with anyone other than you Cecile, I love you," he says staring seriously into my eyes.

'Sage," I say surprised and happy since he's saying these words to only me.  He leans in close to me, and I close my eyes.  Just as our lips were about to touch, the door opens and Akira comes in.

"Ciel, what-" she freezes when she sees the two of us about to kiss.  Sage and I stop and look at her, and when I realize that we were caught about to kiss, I jump away pushing Sage away from me embarrassed.

"Hey what are you doing to MY Ciel,' she shouts at Sage and picks up her sword chasing him.  Sage dodges with easy and places a quick kiss on my forehead before whispering in my ear that he will see me in a few days when we begin our mission to infiltrate the south kingdom.  Then he leaves the room with Akira hot on his heels yelling at him fro stealing me from her.  Hahaha.  She one of a kind alright.

I smile and place my hand on my forehead where I still feel the warmth of his kiss.  Really, what a lucky girl I am.  Not only did Sage change me, but I've also changed him.  We haven't even known each other for a year, but I know that we are meant to be together.  

Little did I know that the real challenge starts and Sage's love and mine will be put to the test in this mission.

Ling:  Hi everyone!  Finally forced myself to sit down and type this story.  I might have rushed their relationship, but I didn't want it to drag on and never happen much like I did in Reincarnated to another World.  Ir might be a little sappy or cliche and I think I did tell someone I'll try to not make it like this so in the rest of the chapters, I'll try to make them unique.  Not sure how though, it may end up being cliche in the end still so I apologize if it is in advance right now.
