Chapter 13~ You'll Be Fine

"Um what the hell Amber!?" Grayson says wiping tears from his eyes.

"I can not believe you made me watch that! I cried, I do not, have not cried during a movie until now!" Ethan stands up to take his laptop.

"But it's a good movie right?" I giggle seriously.

"Yeah.. minus the fact that I was waiting for Hazle to die not Augustus, like what the heck, that's not a cool ending." Grayson wipes the tears from my eyes now.

"That's the beauty of it. You expect one thing but the complete opposite happens." I smile as Ethan closes the laptop.

"But why watch it now, I hope you don't think you're gonna die cause that ain't happenin, sorry to break it to ya!" Ethan laughs the last part.

"How long does it take to drive home and back?" I sigh looking at the clock seeing its 3:50pm.

"She'll be back soon." Grayson says.

Ethan looks at me and turns to the clock that I'm still staring at. I look away slowly and look towards the door as three doctors make their way to my bed. Oh no. I start to breathe heavily, trying to calm myself down but it's not working.

Ethan gets up and runs to me, hugging me tight. "You'll be fine.." He whispers in my ear before walking back to his seat.

Grayson hugs me too. Slightly tighter though, "We'll be here when you wake up.."

"Don't let me go.. please.." He stands up slowly. "Grayson! No.. please."

"You'll be fine, back in no time.." Grayson leans down to hold me one last time before whispering, "I love you Amber.."

Soon enough the doctors are pushing my bed down the hall with a crying, scared, freaking out 15 year old sitting curled up in the middle.

** GRAYSON'S POV **

As I watch Amber get rolled away I close my eyes, still hearing her crying. Her voice slowly fading as she gets further away. I hate seeing her sad.

"Gray.. she'll be fine."

(THE NEXT MORNING 5AM-THE HOSPITAL)

** AMBER'S POV **

I am laying here on the hospital bed still, I can feel someone holding my left hand. I feel a drip in it too. I open my eyes slowly. It's dark but I can see a little bit, like Grayson who is the one holding my hand and sleeping with his head on the edge of the bed. Then mum who is asleep on the chair behind him, and Ethan who is awake, sitting on a stool at the end of my bed.

"Hey.." I whisper because I don't think he saw me wake up.

"Amber! Hey!" He whispers getting up fast.

I look at Grayson, "You think if I move he'll wake up?" I ask Ethan.

"For sure but he might not because he only just fell asleep."

"Why are you awake?"

"Well it's hard for me to sleep on stools, I didn't want to fall and I had to edit cause you wanted to watch that movie before."

"Yeah haha."

"So how are.. you doing?" He asks slowly.

"Well honestly it wasn't as bad as I thought."

"How bad did you think it would be, painfully on a scale of 1 to 10?"

"I was thinking like a 9 but it was like a 1.5"

"See worried for no reason!"

"Always."

"You still look.. distressed or sad or-"

"It's starting to hurt a little bit now though."

"You want me to get a nurse?"

"Nah I'll be fine."

"Good I'll go get one!" And Ethan walks out, coming back with a young nurse.

She looks tired and exhausted.

"You're awake.." She looks above my bed, "..Amber."

"Yeah."

"I'll go get the doctor and come back with something for that pain then."

"Okay sure.."

I look over at Grayson who is moving his head a little bit to get comfy.

"You know Amber he started crying before." Ethan sits down beside me.

"When?"

"After you left.. He was terrified, you know how he said to you that you'll be fine?"

"Yeah?"

"He didn't really believe it that much and when you left the room he broke down and cried. He wouldn't admit it and said 'I keep thinking about the movie it's fine' but he told me before he fell asleep."

"Oh."

"You've accomplished something great Amber!" Ethan laughs.

"What?" I am so confused.

"You made him cry, he loves you!"

"Riggghhht.." I look over at Grayson and watch him breathe.

His chest heaving up and down with the rhythm of his breathe. He's so innocent, haha he told me I looked innocent once, I remember that in april, I went to the warehouse for the first time and they were jumping into the foam pit and Grayson said, "You're to innocent to jump in I bet ya!" I jumped in though.

I look back at Ethan, "Spoken to Lilly?" I raise my eyebrow and smirk at him.

"Um A don't do that face and B no I was busy, making sure my brother didn't have an anxiety attack because my best friend was sick!" He smirks back.

"Can I wake Gray up?"

"Is my company not good enough for you?" He laughs.

"What, oh no way!" I laugh.

"You can wake him up I gotta go soon anyway."

"What where?"

"Um your dad has to go to work so I said, as the loving best friend slash, brother in-law I'm soon to be I'd watch them at the warehouse."

"Okay but I'm not married to Grayson can I point that out."

"I said soon to be though!" Ethan laughs.

I laugh to but it hurts my stitches a bit. I clench my left hand accidentally and feel Grayson's head shoot up.

"You're awake!" Grayson jumps up and hugs me.

"Bro get off." Ethan says as I wince.

"Sorry.."

"It's okay, I missed you too." I smile.

"Well I'm gonna gooo, see you later!" Ethan waves.

"See ya bestie, I love you!" I yell quietly.

"See ya babe! And Gray!" Ethan walks out.

"Use are weird." Grayson rolls his eyes smiling.

"Aww you love us.."

"So much.." He whispers not queit enough.
